I had a great experience at my local Aspen Dental! I always have at least some anxiety about going to the dentist, but the hygienist, Tiarra, was very welcoming and professional and today's treatment went really well. It had been a long time since I had been to a dentist because of finances, insurance changes, and my anxiety issues a little too, but today's visit helped me see that there really wasn't anything to worry about. People usually ask how much pain you had during your procedure and I can honestly say I didn't have any pain at any time, and I have a lot of work to get done. They make sure you are as comfortable as possible. So, if you're worried about that, don't be. It went so well today that I have no anxiety about the other two appointments I need to get the work finished on my teeth and gums. (We're spreading the work out over 3 appointments to keep them shorter.)
My appointment was scheduled for an hour but it didn't even take that long - they don't keep you there longer than you need to be. The entire appointment - from the time they gave me Novocaine (which didn't hurt either, by the way) until they were finished with the day's procedure was only about 35-40 minutes max.
The rest of the office staff was very nice - and professional - too. They welcome you when you come in for your appointment and they all say "bye" or "have a nice rest of your day" when you are leaving the office. They were all very nice! I definitely recommend giving Aspen Dental a try if you need on-going dental care and/or dental work!
