What can I expect from my dentist?

From diagnosis through treatment, your doctor at Aspen Dental brings their clinical training, experience, and judgment to every decision about your care. And because they're part of a nationwide network of clinicians, they can also tap into the knowledge and experience of colleagues across specialties when it benefits you.

Are all the clinicians certified?

All clinicians hold an active, unrestricted dental license that’s verified. The clinicians are board-certified by the relevant American Dental Association–recognized specialty boards (ABE, ABP, ABO, ABOMS, ABPD, ABOMR, ABDPH).

Frequently asked questions about our clinical standards

Each clinician's bio page lists their full name, specialty board certification, and graduating institution. You can verify any U.S. dental license through the American Association of Dental Boards or directly through your state dental board's public license lookup. Specialty board certifications can be verified through the certifying board's website.

The Clinical Support Team trained at CODA-accredited U.S. dental schools and completed accredited residency or specialty programs. The roster includes graduates of programs such as Harvard School of Dental Medicine, University of Michigan, UCSF, Penn, and UNC, with specialty training completed through CODA-accredited residencies in endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics and dental public health. Each expert's individual bio details their full educational background.

Ten ADA-recognized specialties plus general dentistry and dental hygiene are represented: Endodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pediatric Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Dental Public Health, and Dental Anesthesiology — each led by a board-certified specialist. This breadth ensures any procedure performed in the network is overseen by a clinician with formal expertise in that discipline.

Chief Clinical Officer, Arwinder Judge, DDS, chairs the 14-member Clinical Expertise Team, which authors and reviews all clinical protocols, sets standards for provider qualifications, oversees peer review, and serves as the escalation path for complex cases. Their full bios, credentials, and prior institutional affiliations are linked on each profile.
