Dr. Rute Ramalho serves as Vice President of Hygiene Strategy & Operations at Aspen Dental. She supports hygiene standards, preventive care programs and operational excellence across Aspen Dental practices nationwide.
Dr. Ramalho does not actively see patients in her current role. Her work focuses on supporting the systems, standards and teams behind high-quality hygiene and preventive care.
Her areas of expertise include preventive care, periodontal care, hygiene strategy, clinical training, workforce development and oral-systemic health.
Dr. Ramalho earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science from Lisbon University, College of Dentistry, in 2011. She also earned her Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Business in 2017.
Through ongoing participation in industry interviews, podcasts and professional discussions, Dr. Ramalho stays engaged in evolving clinical standards, hygiene workforce development and oral-systemic health research.
