With experience as both a general dentist and practice owner, she mentors doctors and helps build strong, patient-centered practices — with a particular focus on dental AI and advanced technologies that are shaping the future of how practices run.

Dr. McDonough helps oversee Aspen Dental outreach initiatives, including programs in Guatemala, Mexico and Ecuador, that bring care to underserved communities. She also supports structured learning, mentorship and ownership readiness programs that help dentists build their careers with confidence.
Dr. McDonough joined Aspen Dental in 2013.
