Okay so I usually don't write reviews because "I never have time for it" or don't care enough but I decided to do one today because I actually was very happy with my experience at espen dental in ashwaubenon. I'm a huge worry wort over particular things. And one of them is my teeth. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and it was freaking me out so when I visited Aspen, they went over my dental plan with me and answered every single question I had which was a lot. I tend to over ask like way too many questions, which I think can probably be annoying for some people. But they were very patient and understanding and went into a detailed explanation of everything about the procedure that they were going to do.
I paid the deposit for the first appointment and backed out of it originally. It was very, very easy to get refunded. I simply just told them my worries, and I was going to wait a second and reschedule possibly and they didn't try convincing me to keep it or anything like that which I found relieving. Because I already felt bad about doing that. They said 7-10 business days but it was only 2 days for it to be back in my account. I did find out that Aspen was the best pricing for this procedure and what was required for me personally and felt a little more comfortable. So I rescheduled and they were happy to have me back.
I am leaving 5 stars but one thing that did concern me was their advertising for their payment plans. It's not technically through them, it is through a 3rd party lender so sort of like a loan I guess. My application was denied which I found odd since I have 750+ credit score, and so the offer given to me was 30% interest rate. The procedure cost was not worth taking a loan but a little too expensive for out of pocket at that moment which is why I decided to wait and reschedule. This is not really their fault necessarily I mean they just work there. The lady helping me i think her nam was sam? She was very understanding and patient during that process as well. She went over my insurance coverages thoroughly and explained exactly what was covered and what was not and why which I found very helpful.
When when I went in for the appointment again, as they were doing everything they were explaining what was happening and giving me reassurance during every step of the process. The dentist who worked on my teeth was great at finding a happy medium between too nice and not nice at all. I find that most dentists I've seen in the past are either emotionless and just there to do their job or they are way too nice and give me the feeling I'm a child. She was very professional but was also really good at helping with questions if I had them , or telling me I did a good job after my shots , because she could tell I was nervous lol she even answered a question I had asked during the procedure (it was a periodontal platng and scaling i believe it's called, so no major tools were involved, normally wouldnt talk during a procedure) to clarify a concern i had.
Anyway, I was very pleased with this experience and am I thankful for the kindness the receptionists and the hygienists and dentists had shown me there. Thank you!!!!!
I had 7 teeth extracted on the 19 of March 2026, the male dentist i had was very gentle and made sure I felt no pain. The assistant was very nice and calming effects with her talking to me. The office was clean and they made sure I was comfortable before starting.
Best experience! They are all friendly and helpful by explaining everything I needed done up front. Then sat down with me to explain the cost for everything so there will be no surprises.
