To honor Veterans Day, Aspen Dental Day of Service is a one-day event on November 7, 2026, when participating Aspen Dental offices provide dental care to veterans at no charge. Veterans are evaluated by an Aspen Dental provider, who determines which dental needs can be treated during the event based on the program’s current guidelines.

What is the Aspen Dental Day of Service?
Day of Service is an annual event where participating Aspen Dental offices provide dental care to veterans at no charge. Aspen Dental donates the cost of approved care, so participating veterans are not billed for those services.
The program began in 2014 and provided care to more than 30,000 veterans nationwide. Day of Service is an Aspen Dental program, not a government or U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs benefit. It's part of Aspen Dental's Healthy Mouth Movement, a decade-long commitment to expanding access to free dental care for veterans and underserved communities nationwide.
Who is eligible?
Anyone who has served in any branch of the U.S. military is eligible to participate in Aspen Dental Day of Service.
Appointments are available at participating Aspen Dental offices and may fill quickly. Check the official Day of Service page for current scheduling information and participating locations before you book.
When and where does it take place?
Aspen Dental Day of Service will take place on November 7, 2026, at participating Aspen Dental offices across the country. Not every office takes part, so check the program page to find a participating location near you.
Registration is required, and walk-ins are not accepted. Scheduling opens September 29, 2026. Appointments are limited, so it's a good idea to register as soon as possible once scheduling opens.
What happens at a Day of Service appointment?
Your visit starts with an exam and prescribed X-rays so your Aspen Dental provider can understand your most urgent dental needs. After reviewing what they find, your dental provider will explain what can be addressed during your Day of Service visit.
Plan to arrive a few minutes early. Bring a valid ID and proof of military service, such as a DD-214 (your discharge paperwork), veteran ID card or military ID, so the office can confirm your eligibility.
What services may be available?
The care provided through Day of Service depends on your dental needs and what can be completed during the event. Services may include a filling, extraction, basic cleaning or denture repair.
A specific treatment cannot be promised before your exam. Once your Aspen Dental provider understands what you need, they can focus on the care that will be most helpful that day and explain any next steps that may be needed afterward.
What does "at no charge" mean?
For veterans who participate in Day of Service, approved care provided during the event is not billed to you. Aspen Dental covers the cost of that care, so there is no copay or out-of-pocket charge for services included in your visit.
Your Aspen Dental provider will explain what care can be provided through Day of Service before treatment begins. If you need care that falls outside the event, your dental provider can also talk with you about your options and help you understand what comes next.
Visit the Aspen Dental Day of Service page to review current details, find a participating location and register when scheduling opens.
