Your treatment timeline will depend on your specific needs, but most implant bridge plans follow a few key steps:
Consultation — Your provider evaluates your oral health and builds a personalized treatment plan
Preparatory care, if needed — Some patients may need care such as extractions or bone grafting before implants are placed. Your provider will let you know if this step applies to you.
Implant placement — Compromised teeth are removed if needed and implant posts are placed
Healing period — The implants bond with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration
Bridge placement — A custom bridge is attached to the healed implants
