During baseball warm-ups, Kenny took a ball to the face and his lip got stuck on his front braces. It was a stressful situation, to say the least. When we arrived the staff didn't just see another patient—they saw a little boy in pain.
The receptionist was incredible; he had actually dealt with a similar injury himself and advocated for Kenny to get seen.
Despite it being the weekend and close to closing time, the entire team stepped up for a "rescue mission" to get his lip free.
