I was visiting Vegas from out of the area, and had a terrible tooth ache developed over the night and couldn't bare the pain. I looked up dentists near by and chose Aspen Dental because they would be open at 7am. I got there and was seen without an appointment within 10 min. I had to have exams and exam as a new patient and was diagnosed and prescribed antibiotics to fight the infection and was out of there by 730. It took 24 hours for the pain to go away but I now feel great and can continue my vacation. The staff and doctor was amazing and this dental group is better than anything I have available back home. It is almost worth flying to Vegas just to go to the dentist here. Thank you so much. I cant believe how fast I went from unbearable pain to completely normal. I highly recommend this agency.

When a tooth is loose or knocked out, fast treatment is key to saving it. Come in quickly, within the first hour if possible. If your tooth was knocked out, handle it gently by the crown while avoiding touching the root of your tooth. If possible, gently rinse it and place it back in your mouth. Gently bite down on the loose tooth until you’re able to come in.
Persistent bleeding from your gums, lips or tongue
When you come in, we’ll assess the area that’s bleeding to prescribe a personalized care plan. Our providers can help with a wide range of common issues.
For instance, bleeding or swollen gums are often caused by a gum infection or gum disease, such as periodontal disease. While uncomfortable and sometimes painful, these issues are treatable, especially if caught early.

To address your pain and stop the infection, we’ll assess your mouth and create a customized care plan. To alleviate pain or discomfort before coming in: Rinse your mouth with warm salt water, Apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek, Take over-the-counter pain relievers. Please do not apply pain medication directly to the area, chew on the affected side or directly apply heat.

Not always. Some emergencies can be resolved with a filling, crown or antibiotics. If surgery is needed, such as a complex extraction, your provider will review what’s recommended in your care plan.
You’ll be evaluated by one of our leading providers who will: assess your symptoms, address any concerns or questions, take X-rays or scans as needed, explain your treatment options. First, we’ll focus on treating any urgent issues that will offer you fast relief and prevent the issue from worsening. Then, if any additional treatment is recommended, we’ll go over your options and schedule a follow-up.
Most insurance covers at least part of emergency care. At Aspen Dental, we accept most insurance plans but do not accept Medicaid. Before treatment, we’ll check your benefits, explain coverage and provide a written estimate for you to review.

Most emergency rooms (E.R.) are not equipped for dental procedures. Go to the E.R. only if swelling makes it hard to breathe or swallow, or if you have a high fever with infection. Otherwise, call Aspen Dental for urgent dental care.
