First, it's a dental clinic. Nobody wants to be there. But the employees are very friendly and easy going, and it's been a great experience!
Dr. Kayla and Rachele have been so kind and caring when it comes to my father’s care. It’s been a journey, but we have been supported the entire way. The canton location as a whole is one that I highly recommend to anyone that wants reliable care
I had a very good experience this Aspen dental because the staff is very nice and they make sure that you understand what you're doing before you do it. I had anxiety before I went in and I called and Priyana talked me down she spent maybe 20 minutes explaining to me everything that was going to happen at my dentist appointment step by step she broke it down and she told me that a patient advocate would talk to me before we did any work and that's $30 for a new patient exam that doesn't have insurance and that they have this like coupon book that you can buy can save me money and it was amazing I got an appointment confirmation call from Lakeisha and she was so nice and you walk in the door she has the biggest smile ready for you to feel welcomed. I got taken back by an x-ray technician I didn't catch her name but she was very nice explaining all the x-rays we were going to be doing they also did a 3D scan of all my teeth which was so wild to see on the screen because they let you watch what they're doing. And then Dr Kelly was very nice explaining everything that we need to do with my teeth and why and Zarri was a great assistant she made me feel so welcomed and she was so friendly I had to go back the next day and she was like welcome back we're glad to see you she is very personable. Shout out to the patient advocate Anthony he was explaining everything and made sure that I knew what was happening bc at one point I was just like "okay yeah sure" (when I wasn't really sure) and he stopped and was like "no do you understand what I'm telling you cuz I don't want you to not know what you're getting into." And then he explained everything point by point and he helped me with billing and setting up a payment plan everything like these people who work here are so nice. Also shout out to Becky because she is so friendly so nice had a pleasant conversation with her as she was telling me all about my teeth doing the cancer screening like the staff here is so good. I've had such a bad time at dentists that I am always weary, not even including the fact that dentistry is so expensive but the staff had this Aspen dental was fantastic and I'm going back next week to get my crowns I feel very cared for very assured and I'm glad that everyone there is so nice

1
Persistent or severe tooth pain
If you’re experiencing a toothache or pain, especially if it’s keeping you from eating, come in right away. While a visit is needed to create a care plan, fillings, root canals and emergency tooth extractions are all common treatments to help alleviate your pain.
2
A loose or knocked out tooth
When a tooth is loose or knocked out, fast treatment is key to saving it. Come in quickly, within the first hour if possible. If your tooth was knocked out, handle it gently by the crown while avoiding touching the root of your tooth. If possible, gently rinse it and place it back in your mouth. Gently bite down on the loose tooth until you’re able to come in.
3
Persistent bleeding from your gums, lips or tongue
When you come in, we’ll assess the area that’s bleeding to prescribe a personalized care plan. Our providers can help with a wide range of common issues. For instance, bleeding or swollen gums are often caused by a gum infection or gum disease, such as periodontal disease. While uncomfortable and sometimes painful, these issues are treatable, especially if caught early.
4
Cracked or broken teeth, causing pain or sharp edges
If your tooth is broken or has a large chip, if you have the chipped-off piece, wrap it in a wet towel or gauze and we’ll get you back to smiling in no time. Depending on the state of your tooth, we may recommend crowns or fillings to get your tooth feeling brand new.
5
Infections or abscesses that create swelling or a fever
If you’re having a hard time breathing or swallowing, please visit your local emergency room. If you’re experiencing swelling or pain, call us immediately. To address your pain and stop the infection, we’ll assess your mouth and create a customized care plan. To alleviate pain or discomfort before coming in: Rinse your mouth with warm salt water, Apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek, Take over-the-counter pain relievers. Explore frequently asked questions about urgent dental services.

A dental emergency is any oral issue that requires immediate attention to relieve pain, stop bleeding or save a tooth. This includes severe toothaches, broken teeth, knocked-out teeth, infections and injuries to the mouth or jaw.

Our providers can perform extractions, root canals, denture repairs, crown placements and other urgent treatments. We prioritize same-day care whenever possible.

Yes. A broken tooth can expose the inner pulp, causing pain or exposing sharp edges that injure your mouth. Quick treatment reduces complications and restores your tooth fast.

Not always. Some emergencies can be resolved with a filling, crown or antibiotics. If surgery is needed, such as a complex extraction, your provider will review what’s recommended in your care plan.

You’ll be evaluated by one of our leading providers who will: assess your symptoms, address any concerns or questions, take X-rays or scans as needed, explain your treatment options. First, we’ll focus on treating any urgent issues that will offer you fast relief and prevent the issue from worsening. Then, if any additional treatment is recommended, we’ll go over your options and schedule a follow-up.

Most insurance covers at least part of emergency care. At Aspen Dental, we accept most insurance plans but do not accept Medicaid. Before treatment, we’ll check your benefits, explain coverage and provide a written estimate for you to review.

Costs vary depending on the procedure. Insurance usually covers part of the cost. Aspen Dental also provides 3rd-party financing and the Aspen Dental Savings Plan¹ for patients without insurance. ¹The Aspen Dental Savings Plan is NOT insurance. Please see plan terms and conditions for details.

Most emergency rooms (E.R.) are not equipped for dental procedures. Go to the E.R. only if swelling makes it hard to breathe or swallow, or if you have a high fever with infection. Otherwise, call Aspen Dental for urgent dental care.
