I know this sounds cheesy but even as an adult going to the dentist is scary! But I love this practice! Easy peasy in and out and they answered and explained to me all my questions and concerns. It was easy to get on their books and schedule an appointment. The work place environment was a whole vibe! Everyone seemed happy to be there and that’s a huge deal to me! Cause employees who aren’t happy show that in their work. 10/10 am going back. And the dentist is a cutie patooty so win win
I began the process of getting dentures in January 2026, it has been a disaster from the beginning. There extractions were done January 22, 2026. My immediate dentures didnt fit. They were ugly and the midline (the two front teeth) were off center. I had four soft realigns but never get a good fit. I couldn’t get through a meal (while wearing adhesive) without them falling out. Now to be honest, they were the cheapest ones offered. At one of the realigns the girl working with me pretty much said, it is what it is and that they’ll always fit this way. I paid those off then paid additional for the Signature Denture. I picked those up approximately two weeks ago. I told the dentist the day I picked them up that they didn’t fit. There was no suction, to which I was told that was normal and people with top dentures have to use adhesive. I know this to not be true. I know that a correctly fitted denture will have a good suction and typically not require adhesive. At my follow up a week later i complained, seen a different dentist who had me drop them back off so that the issue could be corrected. I picked those up five days ago. There is a very small amount of suction, not much. I still can’t eat without adhesive, with adhesive I have to take them out to reapply more adhesive after I eat because they start to “slip” while I’m eating. I made yet another appointment because the way the correction was done the front has like a “ledge” that makes it super hard to get them in and out. I have three pretty raw spots in my mouth from them rubbing. In total my take is that I should have used a small dental office instead of Aspen.
Dr. McTiernan was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable around him and trusted the plan that he laid out. It was a very successful visit. It was my first time at this particular location, as I usually go to the town center office. But I will be returning to this one in the future. Overall, excellent experience. Thank you.

His favorite aspect of dentistry is serving the community with the highest standard of care and helping patients experience the confidence that comes with a restored smile. Dr. McTiernan treats every patient like family and takes pride in doing things the right way, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Originally from Pennsylvania, he is happy to now call a warmer climate home. Outside of dentistry, Dr. McTiernan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, getting outdoors, and working on cars.
