Dr. Awan is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over a decade of experience in the dental field. His favorite part of his career is being able to work alongside his patients to help them feel comfortable during their treatments as well as collaborate with them on their care. Dr. Awan completed his undergraduate studies at York University and his oral surgery studies and training at McGill University. He has additional training in dental general anesthesia, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and Advanced and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He also remains an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS).
