--- By far the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist. I went in to repair a filling and, instead of evaluating the specific problem I came in for, they took a huge number of X-rays. The gentleman taking the X-rays was clearly new and untrained; a young woman (very kind and attentive) had to come help him. Then they passed me on to a hygienist for a $1,200 cleaning, which I never asked for. I even asked her whether the cleaning was necessary in order to fix the filling that had fallen out, and she said no. After an hour and a half of X-rays and examination by the hygienist, Mr. Amer finally came in. At first he was very cordial and attentive, but then he gave me a talk that was more focused on inflating the estimate than on my specific problem with the filling (I never said I wanted a full evaluation of my teeth). I told him I didn't want the cleaning and asked whether it was necessary just to get the one thing I came in for, which was the filling. He then gave me another talk: that I was young, that he wanted my smile to look good cosmetically, and that he didn't feel comfortable unless he did the cleaning first (even though the hygienist had already told me it wasn't required). Right after that, he told me I needed two crowns before he could do the filling on my front teeth because, once again, he didn't feel comfortable doing the filling without the crowns (each crown costs $2,000). His whole way of speaking to me and treating me changed once he understood that I didn't want two crowns and a cleaning just so I could get my filling and he could feel comfortable. After two hours there, feeling like all they wanted was to take my money and not solve my problem, the one who felt truly uncomfortable was me. I had already gotten my filling done at an Aspen Dental clinic, with completely different treatment, and they never once mentioned that I needed two crowns to get my filling. Clearly, Mr. Amer just wanted more money so he could feel more comfortable. Thanks for not helping me and for making me feel uncomfortable. 0% recommended. Go to another dentist.

I'm still having pain from the prep & crown activities in the 2-teeth area of where the crown was installed. Reactions are from cold foods, liquids, etc.

Dr. Sbeih earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sbeih enjoys playing and watching soccer, a lifelong passion that reflects his energy, teamwork, and dedication. His diverse background and patient-focused approach allow him to bring a unique, thoughtful perspective to dentistry and patient relationships.
