Factors impacting the cost of partial dentures

The quality and type of materials can impact the cost of partial dentures. High-quality materials often come with a higher cost because of their durability, aesthetic appeal and overall performance.

The size and complexity of a partial denture influence its cost. Larger partial dentures, which contain more prosthetic teeth or cover more areas, typically require more materials. Additionally, these dentures may include extra features for improved comfort and functionality, contributing to the overall cost.

The type of partial denture will also influence the cost. Removable partial dentures are designed to be taken out easily for cleaning and maintenance, while implant crowns or bridges are permanently attached and provide a more stable solution. Flexible options, made from materials that allow for some give, may also come with varying price points.

With other dental providers, customization can increase the cost of partial dentures—but not at Aspen Dental. We offer customization for partial dentures without the added cost. From unique gum shades to tooth shapes, you can select a solution that looks and feels natural.

Understanding the Price of Partial Dentures

The cost of partial dentures can vary depending on the type of denture you choose—how it's made—and the number of broken or missing teeth you need to replace. Cost and pricing may vary depending on the offices in your area, your financing and insurance options, whether you're paying for replacements or repair packages at the time of your denture treatment, warranties, money-back guarantees and many other factors. Your dentist will be able to give you a more accurate estimate of the cost of your partial dentures based on your specific needs after scheduling an appointment.

If you are considering getting partial dentures, it is important to weigh the cost against the benefits of different dental solutions. Partial dentures can improve your oral health by filling in gaps left by missing teeth and preventing your remaining teeth from shifting out of place. They can also help you eat and speak more easily, and boost your confidence by giving you a natural-looking smile. Dentures are made from metal, polymers, composite or some combination of all of these. With this modern technology, your dentures can be shaded to match almost any shade of your natural teeth.

When considering the pros and cons of partial dentures over full dentures, a fillingcrowns, a bridge and other cosmetic dentistry solutions, it's important to understand how each procedure is completed, as well as how one denture treatment provides different benefits than others. For example, partial dentures are great for filling in gaps in teeth from a set of damaged or lost teeth, but bridges provide about the same application.

Ultimately, the cost of partial dentures is worth it for many people who want to improve their quality of life. If you're ready to explore your partial denture options, schedule an appointment at an Aspen Dental office near you. We'll work with you to create a treatment process that fits your budget and ensures you're getting the high-quality dental care you deserve.
