I visited these guys today & it’s definitely been marked as the best dental experience of my life! All the workers & doctors were the kindest most caring people ever. It started with the dental assistants & their X-rays. She apologized sooo many times saying it may hurt or feel uncomfortable even at times when it didn’t. Then the doctor was just a sweet as she was helpful, but we can’t forget Mrs. Veronica I think it was. She deals in the finances & planning part. When I say it’s more about you than the money at Aspen I mean it they do their very best to make a way for you to feel great again with your dental appearance. This lady did her thang when it came down to establishing a plan & fitting in what needs to be done that fits your finances. That’s not even the best part tho I was still over around 1000 bucks to get it started the doctor I mention earlier stepped in & said no worries we’re still gonna start the process! It felt like God was talking thru this lady, I cried! She told me awww don’t cry you’re gonna make me cry lol! I couldn’t help it tho I’ve never been anywhere business wise where if u don’t have all the money they still want to take care of you. It just made my day & I’d really recommend this place to any especially this location these people seem to truly care about making you feel whole again & rerouting your life changing experience into a positive one! I’m definitely appreciative! Thank you all guys at Aspen Dental on 249 near Antoine!
The whole process was smooth and everyone was so helpful, starting from the check-in process with Vicky, the dental assistant Adrienne, the hygienist Kimberly, and Dr. Shiv! My cleaning was very thorough and gentle overall, she did a great job! My procedure with Dr. Shiv was easy and painless, I couldn’t feel anything at all, she’s so gentle, careful, and caring! Dental crowns in Houston, TX (Inwood) FAQs

Explore answers to common questions so you know what to expect—before, during and after your dental crown visit at Aspen Dental in Houston office.

A dental crown is a cap placed over a tooth to protect it. It helps fix teeth that are weak, broken or misshapen. Your Aspen Dental dentist shapes the tooth, takes a mold and then places the crown on top. The crown looks and works like a real tooth.

Dental crowns can last up to 15 years. They last longer when you brush, floss and visit your dentist often. Chewing on hard foods can wear them down. If the crown gets damaged, your dentist may be able to replace it.

Crowns don’t respond to whitening treatments, so their color remains the same. If you whiten your natural teeth, your crown may no longer blend in. For the best color match, it’s usually recommended to whiten your teeth before getting a crown.

Yes, you can eat normally once the crown is set in place. At first, it’s a good idea to chew on the other side of your mouth. Try to avoid sticky or hard foods that might loosen the crown.

Dental crowns don’t need special care, but you still need to brush and floss every day. Regular dental visits help keep the crown and your other teeth healthy. Avoid grinding your teeth and ask your Aspen Dental dentist if a night guard might help.
