The best part of my experience at the Aspen was the office manager Tamara. If it was not for her I would not have even considered coming back. She is the most amazing person with the best heart. She explained everything to me in detail and made sure I was comfortable with my treatment before moving forward. The doctor was just okay she seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of me but Tamara took her time and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. Being told that you need dental work done is never easy and the doctor kind of made me feel brushed off but TAMARA that is my girl she made me feel like family. If she ever ends up leaving this office I will not be returning. They need to make sure they keep her around and they definitely need to give her a raise. I have never experienced so much compassion at a dental office you can tell she truly cares about her patients and what is the best option for them. So shoutout to TAMARA for making my experience and helping with my dental anxiety. I appreciate you so much and you are now like family!
Nice people, explaining details in a kind way. I am shocked about the cost of dental is in the USA.
Excellent care. Answered my questions without conveying they were annoyed. Easy to confirm an appointment... For me, I don't need to look anywhere else

Root canal in Spring Hill, TN

If you’re dealing with ongoing tooth pain or infection, a root canal may be the recommended treatment. At Aspen Dental in Spring Hill, our care team provides root canal treatment close to home—so you don’t have to wait to feel relief.

What is a root canal?

A root canal is an endodontic treatment that cleans infection inside your tooth so we can save it instead of taking it out. If left untreated, the pulp that has nerves or tissue may die as a result of infection. Left untreated, an infected tooth can cause damage and lead to other issues. At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step—we’ll explain everything and keep you comfortable throughout the process. If cost is what’s holding you back, don’t delay your visit—we accept most insurances and financing options—so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

What’s the process of getting a root canal at Aspen Dental?

At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step:
1
Initial assessment
We examine the tooth, take X-rays and explain your care plan.
2
Local anesthesia
The affected tooth and surrounding area are numbed completely, so you remain comfortable throughout the procedure.
3
Removing the infection
We carefully remove the infected pulp.
4
Cleaning and shaping
The inside of the tooth is cleaned and prepared.
5
Sealing the tooth
A biocompatible filling material seals the canals to protect the tooth from further infection.
6
Restoring the tooth
Most patients need a crown placed afterward to strengthen and protect the treated tooth for long-term use.

Do I need root canal treatment?

You might need root canal treatment if you notice: tooth pain that doesn’t go away, sensitivity to hot or cold even after the infection is gone, pain when chewing, a cracked or broken tooth exposing the nerve, swelling in the gums or jaw, or a tooth that looks darker than the rest. These are all signs of infection, and by treating it quickly, Aspen Dental could save your tooth.
