I don’t to this often (literally at all) but I just had too. I ABSOLUTELY HATE the dentist. One of my top 3 irrational fears. I’ve been putting off going to the dentist for a while now, and I recently cracked and broke one of my molars. Not immediate pain but it was sharp and just bothered me. And I’ve never had good luck with any dentists until I tried aspen. Going in today I was unbelievably nervous. Long story short the only thing that put me at ease was Hailey Gregory. She reassured me on everything. And made me feel super comfortable. GENUINELY BECAUSE OF HER. I will be switching to Aspen as my permanent dentist.
At Aspen I lost my anxiety toward having my teeth worked on! Especially thanks to Sadie who is very nice and makes each visit fun instead of just a task
As you’re getting my teeth pulled three years ago, I’ve been searching for a Place that I could get dentures where I could afford them and I called Aspen dental made an appointment got in two days later I saw the nurse Haley and then Dr Spencer Who explained to me in the denture process Haley made the impressions the same day she did a very good job then he had me talk to manager Sammy, who had us still out of form for financing and both my husband and I were approved immediately they set up appointments for the next day to come in for a fitting and three days later we both have dentures that fit very nice. They do excellent work there. They’re fast they’re kind. They’re the kind of people you wanna go see and keep going back to thank you Aspen dental.

Root canal in Norfolk, NE

If you’re dealing with ongoing tooth pain or infection, a root canal may be the recommended treatment. At Aspen Dental in Norfolk, our care team provides root canal treatment close to home—so you don’t have to wait to feel relief.

What is a root canal?

A root canal is an endodontic treatment that cleans infection inside your tooth so we can save it instead of taking it out. If left untreated, the pulp that has nerves or tissue may die as a result of infection. Left untreated, an infected tooth can cause damage and lead to other issues. At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step—we’ll explain everything and keep you comfortable throughout the process. If cost is what’s holding you back, don’t delay your visit—we accept most insurances and financing options—so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

What’s the process of getting a root canal at Aspen Dental?

At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step:
1
Initial assessment
We examine the tooth, take X-rays and explain your care plan.
2
Local anesthesia
The affected tooth and surrounding area are numbed completely, so you remain comfortable throughout the procedure.
3
Removing the infection
We carefully remove the infected pulp.
4
Cleaning and shaping
The inside of the tooth is cleaned and prepared.
5
Sealing the tooth
A biocompatible filling material seals the canals to protect the tooth from further infection.
6
Restoring the tooth
Most patients need a crown placed afterward to strengthen and protect the treated tooth for long-term use.

Do I need root canal treatment?

You might need root canal treatment if you notice: tooth pain that doesn’t go away, sensitivity to hot or cold even after the infection is gone, pain when chewing, a cracked or broken tooth exposing the nerve, swelling in the gums or jaw, or a tooth that looks darker than the rest. These are all signs of infection, and by treating it quickly, Aspen Dental could save your tooth.
