Definitely loved my experience at this location.Dr. Stow and her amazing team broke down everything and gave me my opinion. Unlike an experience I had with a previous dentist who only wanted to do what was best for them. Dr Stow came up with a game plan that was comfortable for me and what was best for me financially. Love it

The staff is amazing and consistently helpful. Heather stood out for her professionalism, kindness, and willingness to assist.

Not a long wait, easy in and out. Very nice help from the doctor who seemed to actually care about my health. Then through alot of misunderstandings, Sloane helped me understand everything I needed to get done. With how little I was excepting to get done coming in. I can now actually see an end goal in my dental health. It'll be rough, dont get me wrong. But they made it seem possible. Also, they are very very nice. Went in as a humbug and left actually looking forward to getting my teeth done.

If you’re dealing with ongoing tooth pain or infection, a root canal may be the recommended treatment. At Aspen Dental in Shelby, our care team provides root canal treatment close to home—so you don’t have to wait to feel relief.

What is a root canal?

A root canal is an endodontic treatment that cleans infection inside your tooth so we can save it instead of taking it out. If left untreated, the pulp that has nerves or tissue may die as a result of infection. Left untreated, an infected tooth can cause damage and lead to other issues. At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step—we’ll explain everything and keep you comfortable throughout the process. If cost is what’s holding you back, don’t delay your visit—we accept most insurances and financing options—so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

You might need root canal treatment if you notice: tooth pain that doesn’t go away, sensitivity to hot or cold even after the infection is gone, pain when chewing, a cracked or broken tooth exposing the nerve, swelling in the gums or jaw, or a tooth that looks darker than the rest.
