The people that work at Aspen dental in Jackson , they were very helpful explain everything to us. I would recommend this Denist place to others
Once again i had an exceptional experience with my Aspen dental team at the Jackson Michigan Boardman road office. Morghen my hygienist takes great care of my teeth and gums and has guided me in the use of specific products and care, that have greatly reduced the gaps between my gums and teeth and eliminated the discomfort i had. Dr. Issa examined my broken tooth and determined i need yet another crown and developed a plan for treatment. Kaitlyn was my dental assistant and she guided me through the whole visit, from X-rays to assisting with my examination. Once my plan of care was determined and explained to me Anna assisted me with figuring out how i could finance my upcoming dental work and scheduled my treatments to meet my schedule. Each person involved with my visit was very professional and helpful. A great experience! Since I'm retired and no longer have dental insurance i purchased the Aspen dental discount plan. The small annual fee reduced my upcoming crown and dental work by 30%, which is huge on a fixed income. And then if you have a care credit card you can finance the balance for a number of months interest free as long as you pay the balance within the promotional period. Different lengths of time based on the amount financed. My Jackson Michigan Aspen dental team on Boardman road and the Aspen dental discount plan program have made caring for my dental needs a pleasant experience.
I have had excellent care from Aspen Dental. After the pandemic my teeth were in bad shape. I had extractions and a partial upper denture made. After insurance, the cost was quite reasonable and they have a credit line available which made the decisions easy to make. The partial was top of the line. The staff are excellent and patient. Wait times for appointments are short. Scheduling them is easy. I have zero complaints and highly recommend them to my friends and family. Two years later I have the same opinion. Five stars.

Dental crowns in Jackson, MI FAQs

Explore answers to common questions so you know what to expect—before, during and after your dental crown visit at Aspen Dental in Jackson office.

A dental crown is a cap placed over a tooth to protect it. It helps fix teeth that are weak, broken or misshapen. Your Aspen Dental dentist shapes the tooth, takes a mold and then places the crown on top. The crown looks and works like a real tooth.

Dental crowns can last up to 15 years. They last longer when you brush, floss and visit your dentist often. Chewing on hard foods can wear them down. If the crown gets damaged, your dentist may be able to replace it.

Crowns don’t respond to whitening treatments, so their color remains the same. If you whiten your natural teeth, your crown may no longer blend in. For the best color match, it’s usually recommended to whiten your teeth before getting a crown.

Yes, you can eat normally once the crown is set in place. At first, it’s a good idea to chew on the other side of your mouth. Try to avoid sticky or hard foods that might loosen the crown.

Dental crowns don’t need special care, but you still need to brush and floss every day. Regular dental visits help keep the crown and your other teeth healthy. Avoid grinding your teeth and ask your Aspen Dental dentist if a night guard might help.
