I had a procedure on my lower jaw. I needed a new lower denture once that healed, in about 1 to 2 months. Monday I realized it had been 3 months. I called and they saw me yesterday. They felt so bad that 3 months had gone by. The office Manager came and told me that they would do the new impression right away and would not charge me for it! I could not believe how kind they were and how quickly they addressed this. They were going to have it done by this afternoon. I had visiting Nurses come this morning and would have had to go home with no bottom dentures. Right away they said that they would have them done by 4:30 that same day and I could stay and wait for them They had them done at 3:30 that same day! I never leave comments on anything but I needed to this time. The kindness and flexibility they had, to make sure I was happy and this was done around my needs and time frame immediately was more than I could have ever asked for. The entire staff was incredible. Just incredible.
Donna was very helpful and kind she did a amazing job very gentle and caring
I suffer from ptsd when it comes to the dentist to the point I must be put to sleep for any work to be done. I went to Aspen dental and had the best experience ever. Everything was so clean. The ladies at the front desk were so friendly. I met with Judy the OM and she was made my experience even greater. My experience was so great that I didnt need to get to put to sleep. The dentist that treated me was the best part as he was removing my tooth he was singing which distracted me....honestly I thought he was awesome! Thank you to the staff at Aspen dental for taking some of my anxiety away and giving me the best experience I ever had.

Dental crowns in Fall River, MA FAQs

Explore answers to common questions so you know what to expect—before, during and after your dental crown visit at Aspen Dental in Fall River office.

A dental crown is a cap placed over a tooth to protect it. It helps fix teeth that are weak, broken or misshapen. Your Aspen Dental dentist shapes the tooth, takes a mold and then places the crown on top. The crown looks and works like a real tooth.

Dental crowns can last up to 15 years. They last longer when you brush, floss and visit your dentist often. Chewing on hard foods can wear them down. If the crown gets damaged, your dentist may be able to replace it.

Crowns don’t respond to whitening treatments, so their color remains the same. If you whiten your natural teeth, your crown may no longer blend in. For the best color match, it’s usually recommended to whiten your teeth before getting a crown.

Yes, you can eat normally once the crown is set in place. At first, it’s a good idea to chew on the other side of your mouth. Try to avoid sticky or hard foods that might loosen the crown.

Dental crowns don’t need special care, but you still need to brush and floss every day. Regular dental visits help keep the crown and your other teeth healthy. Avoid grinding your teeth and ask your Aspen Dental dentist if a night guard might help.
