Destiny was amazing! Made a really hard appointment pleasant. Thank you!

I had a great overall experience there when I went.

I came to Dr. Norton III in severe pain from a broken filling and with a major fear of dentists. My jaw was swollen, the pain was so bad my heart was racing, and I begged & demanded to have the tooth pulled right away. Dr. Norton III calmly explained that the infection was too bad to numb properly and that pulling it then would’ve caused inhumane pain. Even though I was upset and angry and totally out of character from how bad it hurt, he stayed patient, kind, and professional. He prescribed antibiotics and promised he’d pull it once the infection went down. A week later, he kept his promise. He removed the tooth quickly, gently, and completely pain free. The best dental experience I’ve ever had. He was understanding even when I apologized for my attitude from the pain. I highly recommend Dr. Norton III, especially for anyone with dental anxiety & let me say one more time, I truly do apologize to Dr Norton.

If you’re dealing with ongoing tooth pain or infection, a root canal may be the recommended treatment. At Aspen Dental in Covington, our care team provides root canal treatment close to home—so you don’t have to wait to feel relief.

What is a root canal?

A root canal is an endodontic treatment that cleans infection inside your tooth so we can save it instead of taking it out. If left untreated, the pulp that has nerves or tissue may die as a result of infection. Left untreated, an infected tooth can cause damage and lead to other issues. At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step—we’ll explain everything and keep you comfortable throughout the process. If cost is what’s holding you back, don’t delay your visit—we accept most insurances and financing options—so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
