I suffer with extreme anxiety and went in to get 3 teeth pulled so on edge. The entire staff was so very nice and really did what they could to make me feel comfortable…it worked. Not only did I not “feel” the shots but my teeth were out in just a matter of minutes and it didn’t even hurt. I was so surprised when they said it was done and I could leave..I even asked them if they were sure and they insisted they were.🤣 I was so very happy with my experience and who the heck ever says something like that after getting teeth pulled? I guess quite a few especially if you go here according to other reviews..so Kudos to the whole team from front desk to the back rooms and Thank you for your dedication to your craft.
One of the best experiences I have ever had at a dental office... the staff and physicians are exceptional... highly recommend this office
Doctor Feltner and the entire staff was great and assisted me with all of my needs even with emergencies with my old dentures.

For a visible tooth that can be removed easily, a simple extraction is typically recommended. This type of treatment is used if your tooth has a large cavity or is too damaged for a filling or crown.
2
Surgical extractions
When a tooth is broken off at your gum line, impacted or difficult to access, a small incision is made to remove it in sections.
3
Wisdom teeth removal
Wisdom teeth are often removed because they can grow sideways or become stuck under your gum line. Removing them prevents crowding, swelling and recurring infections.
4

Sometimes pain or infection cannot wait. In this case, our providers reserve time for same-day emergency visits to remove any teeth that are causing you severe discomfort.

With local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental provider will keep you as comfortable possible. During your procedure, you may feel pressure as your tooth is removed. After your procedure, mild sensitivity is common and should fade after a short period of time. Your provider will provide you detailed after-care instructions and, if needed, medication to manage any discomfort.

Most patients feel much better within a few days. Surgical extractions, especially for wisdom teeth, may require a week or more to fully recovery. Healing is different for everyone and depends on things like your overall health, the complexity of your extraction and how well you follow after-care instructions.

You can usually remove gauze once bleeding has stopped, which may take a few hours after your procedure. Your provider will give you specific instructions to help you heal safely. It’s important to follow these instructions carefully to ensure you fully recover.

If your procedure involves sedation, fasting for several hours ahead of your visit may be required. Your provider will let you know exactly how to prepare. For simple extractions with local anesthesia only, fasting is usually not necessary. If you have questions, reach out to your local Aspen Dental office for further details.

Soft foods are recommended for the first 24 to 48 hours. Options include yogurt, mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, soft pastas and smoothies. As healing progresses, you can reintroduce solid foods when it feels right for you. Make sure to avoid crunchy, sticky or very hot foods until cleared by your provider.

Follow all after-care instructions given to you by your provider. Typically, you’ll be guided to: Avoid smoking or vaping, keep your head elevated, use ice to reduce swelling. Once cleared by your provider, maintain good oral hygiene by brushing gently around the area of your extraction.
