The team here was both helpful and great at their job. Not to tell all of my buisness but I was in a quite a bind. Even after walking in the situation was looking the best coverage wise. But from the moment I walked in starting with Leslie at front desk. She was hospitable and did what she could to try help me where she could. Would not be the last time either. Then her colleague Isa was about Astute and effective as possible trying to get x ray images whilst constantly monitoring if I was comfortable. Then when I moved into the operation room the doctor and his assistant with him Mari I believe. Each of them starting with melody taking a gander at my teeth. She's proactively in the mindset and setting of her job, and contented so if that makes sense. This is especially the case with Doctor Philips, very tentative at his job both in operations and giving details. He also brushes off and probably more accurately reassures and overpasses the patent to not have their head on the potential cost or questionable coverage ability. That's both with the smaller more observation actions he done on my visit, my very first visit at Aspennotably.but also with the potential and needed things that have to be done. He comes off as his heads not their nor is he concerned about it and that just puts u in the same place. Including Me my head wasn't at the potential cost but I was at my usually worry about that later can't do anything about it now no point in thinking about it. I was in that mindset during much of the visit. Dr Phillips vibe had pulled me out of that too. He trust the rest of the team to be abled to help and find ways as best they can. And I would personally see why. Becuase even after the rest of the staff had left(becuase it was closing time) Ms Melissa and Leslie from earlier had stuck with me. I'm not sure for how long it was but they went over the options pathways and potential steps with me. And, I'm not that type of person but for anyway that generally is quite skeptical each of them were so diligent and consider that amongst other things we talked through the numbers and they even done some calculations right in front of me. Leslie in particular since I wasn't called to her desk could have gone home I'm pretty sure. But besides helping me she stuck around to assist her colleague and friend helping me. That the pinnacle of every point I've made that shows that this is a great team. It's not just the due diligence with the care or assistance the both of them besides being very kind try to make light conversation on other things. My head wasn't really there to talk about other than anything dental or payment coverage related. Yet there Energy Both Leslie when I walked in and Melissa right then at desk. The conversation went elsewhere and for just the right amount. Not too much or to little . Same with there hospitality it never seemed to me that the 2 of them were trying to be kind. They just are and even more impactful knew how to casual be kind. There's a difference and it matters. I've been on both sides of this. Trying to be too kind or kind in general can make the other person feel guilty or upset them more. Same with trying to change the subject. They didn't make me feel that way hence why they were kind in the right way. All to say if you need or just want another dental office to go to. Or one thats just overall Great in all the right ways and the right amounts of each of those ways. This Aspen Dental is the one u should go to. I don't recommend things often especially so deliberately. But I'll recommend this office here. Melissa and Leslie especially let alone the entire team Show, have, the highest benchmark of Both professionalism at the job character at the job and Taking pride in the job. It's deadly combination I noticed at the U of I campus let alone around this city let alone a combination truly successful and good people have. I would recommend this office just soley off the reason that it has the combination and that people and places that do must be recognized.
Very comfortable environment when you're coming in for a tense situation. All staff members were really up spirited and knowledgeable from the doctors explaining what all was going to be done down to the administration when it came to what I was paying. Overall great experience!
They were very thorough. Gave me quotes for trying to readjust my set of dentures I got at another place and never been able to wear them and cost of having completely start over.

What are dental fillings?

A tooth filling is a restorative treatment that repairs a tooth that has been damaged by decay or minor fractures. When getting a filling, your dentist will remove any decay in your tooth and then fill the leftover space with either composite resin, glass ionomer or amalgam. This restores the shape, function and strength of your tooth while helping to minimize any discomfort or sensitivity.

Types of dental fillings

Composite fillings

The top choice for tooth restoration—a resin composite filling is made to match your tooth’s shade for a natural appearance.

Glass ionomer fillings

Commonly used for small cavities, these fillings release fluoride, which can help prevent further tooth decay.

Amalgam fillings

Silver tooth fillings (amalgam fillings) are durable, cost-effective and can contain metals such as silver, tin and copper.
