My initial experience was awesome. The staff is super friendly and attentive.

I had to have a back tooth cut out that a specialist claimed he could save. The specialist charged me $1,500, done 3 root canals. It was a terrible experience and I begged him to just pull it. However, after only 2-1/2 months, his work failed and I lost that money. I went back to Aspen Dental and Dr Jindu worked deligently for an hour but successfully removed the tooth and root canals. Stitched me up and I was done. Dr Jindu takes his time and explains everything he is doing. Such a great dentist and wonderful, caring staff. I highly recommend Aspen Dental in Albany, GA.

Unexpectedly Wonderful Experience at Aspen Dental! I recently brought my mother in for a dental exam, and I must admit I came in with a degree of skepticism. I had heard some mixed-to-negative reviews about Aspen Dental in the past, and I was mentally prepared to receive a challenging experience. To my complete surprise, the experience turned out to be genuinely wonderful! The absolute highlight of our visit was Yona, who was AWESOME. Her professionalism and, most importantly, her clear experience and gentle care when handling senior patients were exceptional and did not go unnoticed. It’s clear she understands the patience and specific needs required for elderly patients. Thank you, Aspen, for a great experience, and a special thank you to Yona for making my mother's visit so pleasant.

If you’re dealing with ongoing tooth pain or infection, a root canal may be the recommended treatment. At Aspen Dental in Albany, our care team provides root canal treatment close to home—so you don’t have to wait to feel relief.

What is a root canal?

A root canal is an endodontic treatment that cleans infection inside your tooth so we can save it instead of taking it out. If left untreated, the pulp that has nerves or tissue may die as a result of infection. Left untreated, an infected tooth can cause damage and lead to other issues. At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step—we’ll explain everything and keep you comfortable throughout the process. If cost is what’s holding you back, don’t delay your visit—we accept most insurances and financing options—so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

What’s the process of getting a root canal at Aspen Dental?

At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step:

Do I need root canal treatment?

You might need root canal treatment if you notice: tooth pain that doesn’t go away, sensitivity to hot or cold even after the infection is gone, pain when chewing, a cracked or broken tooth exposing the nerve, swelling in the gums or jaw, or a tooth that looks darker than the rest. These are all signs of infection, and by treating it quickly, Aspen Dental could save your tooth.
