My wife had a toothache and we called several Dental places for her to get treatment. None responded to our request. I then called Aspen Dental @ SODO and they told me come in and they will help. We arrived and were immediately greeted and treated with respect. The staff was extremely friendly and they got her in to see the dentist quickly. The dentist stated the tooth needed a root canal and we got another appointment at a different location, the same day. We then went there and they stated they couldn't do the root canal because the tooth could be not saved. We called the SODO office and the dentist called in a prescription for pain medicine and made an appointment to have the tooth extracted on Monday. That was done and then we made an appointment to have lower dentures made for her. This tooth that was extracted was an anchor tooth for her lower dentures she had. Then next Wednesday they did the impression and extracted the remaining teeth. They made the temporary denture and installed it. My wife was extremely satisfied with the results and the compassion of the Dental office personnel and Doctors. The cost was acceptable and well within my budget. I would highly recommend going to Aspen Dental vice the other two dental places I contacted. One has a herb in its name and the other has the color of money.
Everyone is really nice and polite. It was great experience, definitely will keep going!
My family and I came to Orlando on vacation and while driving down I broke a piece of my wisdom tooth. By the time we got to Orlando all dental offices were closed so I had to suffer the worst pain in my life and I have had 11 surgeries so I know pain. I went online to find a dentist office and found Aspen Dental and I was able to get an appointment for the following morning at the SODO location. From the second I got there everyone was attentive from the receptionist to the dentist. I've had two teeth pulled before and this is the first time I did not even know when the tooth came out as I did not feel any pain while it was being done. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental.

Root canal in Orlando, FL (SODO)

If you’re dealing with ongoing tooth pain or infection, a root canal may be the recommended treatment. At Aspen Dental in Orlando, our care team provides root canal treatment close to home—so you don’t have to wait to feel relief.

What is a root canal?

A root canal is an endodontic treatment that cleans infection inside your tooth so we can save it instead of taking it out. If left untreated, the pulp that has nerves or tissue may die as a result of infection. Left untreated, an infected tooth can cause damage and lead to other issues. At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step—we’ll explain everything and keep you comfortable throughout the process. If cost is what’s holding you back, don’t delay your visit—we accept most insurances and financing options—so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

What’s the process of getting a root canal at Aspen Dental?

At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step:
1
Initial assessment
We examine the tooth, take X-rays and explain your care plan.
2
Local anesthesia
The affected tooth and surrounding area are numbed completely, so you remain comfortable throughout the procedure.
3
Removing the infection
We carefully remove the infected pulp.
4
Cleaning and shaping
The inside of the tooth is cleaned and prepared.
5
Sealing the tooth
A biocompatible filling material seals the canals to protect the tooth from further infection.
6
Restoring the tooth
Most patients need a crown placed afterward to strengthen and protect the treated tooth for long-term use.

Do I need root canal treatment?

You might need root canal treatment if you notice: tooth pain that doesn’t go away, sensitivity to hot or cold even after the infection is gone, pain when chewing, a cracked or broken tooth exposing the nerve, swelling in the gums or jaw, or a tooth that looks darker than the rest. These are all signs of infection, and by treating it quickly, Aspen Dental could save your tooth.
