Aspen dental! I have to say the office has made many changes and the new office manager here is amazing! I recommend anyone I know to come to her location! I was nervous to come to the dentist but she reassured me that all was going to be okay and she would be there every step of the way in my journey! She’s amazing from the acknowledgment of me being there to her doing her rounds that I noticed with checking on patients in the room and actually being there when the Dr was examining me. There’s just no words to describe how blessed and thankful I am that Aspen has a very wonderful person! Although I could tell she’s not feeling well she still held a smile and made sure I was able to get the care I need. Thank you Aspen! Beautiful staff!

I love the office! To the front staff to the back staff everyone is wonderful! The doctor is amazing as well and does amazing work!! I wouldn’t want to go to another office!

I had such a wonderful experience at this dental office! From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure every patient feels cared for. Dr. Barros take her time explaining everything clearly, answering questions, and making sure you feel confident in your treatment. The office is clean, organized, and runs smoothly—it's clear they take pride in what they do. I’m grateful to have found a dental team I can trust. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality dental care!!

What are dental fillings?

A tooth filling is a restorative treatment that repairs a tooth that has been damaged by decay or minor fractures. When getting a filling, your dentist will remove any decay in your tooth and then fill the leftover space with either composite resin, glass ionomer or amalgam. This restores the shape, function and strength of your tooth while helping to minimize any discomfort or sensitivity.

Types of dental fillings

Composite fillings

The top choice for tooth restoration—a resin composite filling is made to match your tooth’s shade for a natural appearance.

Glass ionomer fillings

Commonly used for small cavities, these fillings release fluoride, which can help prevent further tooth decay.

Amalgam fillings

Silver tooth fillings (amalgam fillings) are durable, cost-effective and can contain metals such as silver, tin and copper.
