It was a new experience for me because I had not been to the.Dentist in years. I received a great welcome from the staff and they.made it more easy to feel I would be taken good care of At first, I got a little scared because my last dental experience was scary for me.because I was lot's of pain, with my wisdom tooth on the right side, bottom. I didn't.have any dental experience. At home growing up, I was used to losing teeth but we never went to the dentist. We brushed our teeth with regular tooth paste, what ever my parents provided.for our teeth. I just always wanted my teeth to be white which every one did. I lost the 1st wisdom tooth and after that I always wanted gold teeth, I received them round about the age of 24 by a neighborhood dentist, that came to your house and I broke his drill, I had one cavity that was starting and, Oscar was the dentist. He filled it and told me I had very good teeth and that I should not have any more problems, but on September 10, 2026, I had no choice, I had a bad tooth ache with a ear ache included. I didn't know I had a plack problem like what I saw on the X-rays that really needed cleaning, I mean a deep cleaning. I met all of the staff who were going to work on my teeth to give me a better dental outcome and health.. The individual staff introduced themselves and gave me like bit of dental care and what part they would play in my journey of looking and feeling better, the removal of my wisdom tooth at bottom on my left side, and 1 top tooth that had broken off, I let them know I don't know when I lost part of that tooth. Then, The staff member who was the person to be doing the cleaning, gave me a very good presentation of what to expect, she noticed that I was nervous about it so she shared that she also is a chicken when it comes to pain It made me feel a lot better. I can't show you a before picture of my teeth, I will try to show what they look like now, but you will be able to see the pictures and I Love what I see. Aspen made me very happy. I have an appointment for the 22nd of this month, I received my package from the front desk staff who also were under standing and took the time to explain what my responsibilities would be and what part is my payment, I agreed and am ready to make sure I take care of my dental part of my health and make appointments, every 3 months after the work is done. I received from the hygienist the package and she explained how to use and what type of toothbrush to use. I have the electric one so I am ready.
They took care of my cavities. My teeth hurt but I am okay. Thanks to Aspen Dental
Warm and friendly place, make me feel safe and comfortable, keep up the good work

Root canal in Miami, FL (River Landing)

If you’re dealing with ongoing tooth pain or infection, a root canal may be the recommended treatment. At Aspen Dental in Miami, our care team provides root canal treatment close to home—so you don’t have to wait to feel relief.

What is a root canal?

A root canal is an endodontic treatment that cleans infection inside your tooth so we can save it instead of taking it out. If left untreated, the pulp that has nerves or tissue may die as a result of infection. Left untreated, an infected tooth can cause damage and lead to other issues. At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step—we’ll explain everything and keep you comfortable throughout the process. If cost is what’s holding you back, don’t delay your visit—we accept most insurances and financing options—so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

What’s the process of getting a root canal at Aspen Dental?

At Aspen Dental, your comfort is our priority at every step:
1
Initial assessment
We examine the tooth, take X-rays and explain your care plan.
2
Local anesthesia
The affected tooth and surrounding area are numbed completely, so you remain comfortable throughout the procedure.
3
Removing the infection
We carefully remove the infected pulp.
4
Cleaning and shaping
The inside of the tooth is cleaned and prepared.
5
Sealing the tooth
A biocompatible filling material seals the canals to protect the tooth from further infection.
6
Restoring the tooth
Most patients need a crown placed afterward to strengthen and protect the treated tooth for long-term use.

Do I need root canal treatment?

You might need root canal treatment if you notice: tooth pain that doesn’t go away, sensitivity to hot or cold even after the infection is gone, pain when chewing, a cracked or broken tooth exposing the nerve, swelling in the gums or jaw, or a tooth that looks darker than the rest. These are all signs of infection, and by treating it quickly, Aspen Dental could save your tooth.
