I had an amazing experience with this team at Aspen 64 East. I loved Doctor Mark! He was amazing at his job and made me feel heard with what I wanted and wanted to stick to with my teeth. He made the worst parts of dentist work feel safe. I also loved Crystal his assistant! She was just as excited as me to get my new smile! She truly felt like a friend! We laughed the whole time! Everyone there made me feel like a part of the little family they had there! I can’t rave enough about them. Thank you guys so much!!
Staff was great! was able to get in same day. Friendly and attentive dentist. The best dental hygienist I have ever had!
I cannot recommend Dr. Mark Henein and his assistant Crystal enough! I came in during a real dental emergency with a broken tooth, extremely stressed and terrified because I have a huge fear of dentists. From the moment I walked in, they treated me with so much kindness, patience, and professionalism. They accepted me right away without any problems and immediately made me feel calmer and safe.
Crystal was incredibly caring and comforting, and Dr. Mark truly has golden hands. He worked so gently, quickly, and professionally that I could hardly believe how smooth the whole experience was. He handled my anxiety with so much understanding and patience — honestly, he deserves an award for putting up with me!
They even helped me with a discount on the X-rays, which I appreciated so much during such a stressful moment. This office is amazing, and the level of care here is exceptional. Dr. Mark is a true professional and genuinely talented at what he does. I wish him nothing but the very best, the happiest life, and the best patients in the world because he absolutely deserves it.
If you are scared of dentists like I am, this is the place to go. And specifically go to Dr. Mark Henein.
You will be in the best hands possible!

With local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental provider will keep you as comfortable possible. During your procedure, you may feel pressure as your tooth is removed. After your procedure, mild sensitivity is common and should fade after a short period of time. Your provider will provide you detailed after-care instructions and, if needed, medication to manage any discomfort.
Most patients feel much better within a few days. Surgical extractions, especially for wisdom teeth, may require a week or more to fully recovery. Healing is different for everyone and depends on things like your overall health, the complexity of your extraction and how well you follow after-care instructions.
You can usually remove gauze once bleeding has stopped, which may take a few hours after your procedure. Your provider will give you specific instructions to help you heal safely. It’s important to follow these instructions carefully to ensure you fully recover.
If your procedure involves sedation, fasting for several hours ahead of your visit may be required. Your provider will let you know exactly how to prepare. For simple extractions with local anesthesia only, fasting is usually not necessary. If you have questions, reach out to your local Aspen Dental office for further details.
Soft foods are recommended for the first 24 to 48 hours. Options include yogurt, mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, soft pastas and smoothies. As healing progresses, you can reintroduce solid foods when it feels right for you.
Make sure to avoid crunchy, sticky or very hot foods until cleared by your provider.
Follow all after-care instructions given to you by your provider. Typically, you’ll be guided to: Avoid smoking or vaping, keep your head elevated, use ice to reduce swelling. Once cleared by your provider, maintain good oral hygiene by brushing gently around the area of your extraction.
