Dr. Thomas Palumbo believes dentistry is about more than treating teeth—it’s about caring for people. His goal with every patient is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and confident in the care they receive. Dr. Palumbo began his journey into dentistry with a strong interest in science and healthcare. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he gained a deep appreciation for the connection between oral and overall health. Inspired to apply that knowledge in a hands-on, patient-centered way, he went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. During his four years in Pittsburgh, Dr. Palumbo had the privilege of treating patients from diverse backgrounds and gaining comprehensive clinical experience across all areas of dentistry. He especially valued opportunities to solve complex cases and witness the positive impact dentistry can have on a patient’s confidence and well-being. These experiences not only sharpened his technical skills but also strengthened his belief in the importance of empathy, communication, and trust in patient care. Dr. Palumbo understands that many people feel anxious about visiting the dentist. He takes this to heart and is dedicated to putting patients at ease. Whether by carefully explaining treatment options, checking in often during procedures, or simply offering reassurance, he and his team prioritize comfort and compassion. For Dr. Palumbo, a patient’s peace of mind is just as important as the quality of their dental treatment. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Palumbo enjoys cooking and baking—hobbies that reflect his attention to detail and creativity. He also has a dog who keeps him active and reminds him of the importance of balance beyond his professional life.
