My name is Dr. Lauren Metzger, and I’m originally from Charlestown, Indiana. I currently practice in Vincennes, Indiana, where I’ve had the privilege of building meaningful connections with patients and providing care rooted in compassion, precision, and trust. I graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in May of 2015 and have been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. Dentistry has always felt like the perfect fit for me—it’s the ideal blend of science, art, and attention to detail. From a young age, I was drawn to the idea of working with my hands and helping people feel confident in their smiles, and I’ve been fortunate to turn that passion into a career. Over the years, I’ve pursued advanced training in dental implants, clear aligner therapy, surgical extractions, and cosmetic procedures. These specialties allow me to offer comprehensive, personalized care to my patients—whether they need functional treatment or are seeking aesthetic improvements. Every patient is unique, and I love tailoring solutions that restore both health and confidence. What I enjoy most about dentistry is the human connection. It’s about more than just teeth—it’s about understanding people’s stories, easing their anxieties, and being part of their journey toward better health. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Outside of the office, my world revolves around my family. I’m a proud mom to two energetic little boys, ages 4 and 5, who keep me on my toes and fill my life with joy. When I’m not in “mom mode,” you can usually find me painting, crafting, or diving into a DIY project—creative outlets that help me stay balanced and inspired. Being a dentist is incredibly rewarding, and I feel honored to do what I love every day. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve the Vincennes community and look forward to many more years of creating healthy, beautiful smiles.
