Dr. Farida Sewielam, DDS earned her dental degree from UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Houston. She is passionate about patient interaction and education, believing that informed patients are empowered patients. Dr. Sewielam is dedicated to helping individuals achieve long-lasting smile goals while improving not only their oral health, but their overall well-being. Her approach blends clinical precision with genuine compassion. Dr. Sewielam is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in an environment where patients feel informed, comfortable, and truly cared for. She believes in treating not just the teeth, but the person behind the smile. Dr. Sewielam has pursued advanced training, including Laser Certification (ALD) and certification in Minimal Sedation and Nitrous Oxide Administration, allowing her to provide comfortable and modern treatment options. She has also contributed to dental research, publishing “Kinetics of Mucosal Alterations Following Treatment of Gingival Recession Defects with VISTA: An Exploratory Study Using 3-D Digital Analysis” in September 2019. Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Sewielam is proud to serve a diverse community of patients. Outside of the office, she enjoys outdoor sports, hiking, and traveling. She is also a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and appreciates meals that bring people together.
