Dr. Drew Patchett, DMD completed both his undergraduate and dental education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Between undergrad and dental school, he worked as a dental assistant—an experience that gave him valuable hands-on insight into patient care and further strengthened his passion for dentistry. Dr. Patchett’s favorite procedures involve the delivery of prosthetics. He finds it especially rewarding to see a comprehensive treatment plan come together and to witness the life-changing impact a restored smile can have on a patient’s confidence and quality of life. His approach to dentistry focuses on providing predictable, long-term solutions whenever possible. Dr. Patchett believes in looking ahead—identifying potential concerns early and addressing them before they become active problems. He is committed to thoughtful treatment planning and values collaboration with fellow dental providers. He also enjoys mentoring and being part of the professional growth journey of younger doctors. Born and raised in Dothan, Dr. Patchett is proud to call the Wiregrass home and feels fortunate to serve the community he grew up in. Outside the office, you’ll likely find him on the river or at the beach. Any time spent on the water with friends and family is time well spent. A seafood enthusiast, his favorite spot is Hunt’s Seafood—and while he may not love the colder weather, he always looks forward to oyster season.
