Acrylic dentures restore the natural look and function of your teeth. Whether you’re missing a full row of teeth or only a few, Aspen Dental has a range of full and partial dentures made with acrylic, along with other materials like resins and polymers, to add strength and durability to your smile.
Aspen Dental’s expert lab technicians custom craft many of our dentures by hand, which feature acrylic bases, or gums, mixed with other materials within them for stronger, more comfortable wear. Other premium options are digitally designed with acrylics, taking customization and detail to the next level.
Since 1998, Aspen Dental has been making quality dentures affordable for everyone, so they can enjoy their highest quality of life.

The average cost of dentures, including acrylic-made options, can vary depending on the type you need, the materials you choose, or any additional treatments you may need prior to your final fitting.
Some types of dentures are made with acrylics, some are not. Depending on your needs and budget, your care team can guide you to your best solution.
Analog dentures, or dentures crafted by hand, all feature an acrylic-blend based; some also include acrylic teeth. All of Aspen Dental’s digitally made dentures are crafted with some type of resin. See what’s right for you:
Full dentures
Looking for your most affordable option? Choose Basic or Classic dentures for solid, everyday wear and 3 customizable acrylic tooth shades.
If you want a more premium, customizable solution, explore our digitally printed Signature Series, including Signature Elite and Signature dentures. Both are made with ultra durable acrylic resin bases and teeth that become stronger the longer you wear them.
Partial dentures
If you’re missing a few teeth, partial dentures can restore your bite quickly and affordably. All three of our options— Cast Partial, Flexilytes℠, Flexilytes Combo℠—are custom crafted with an acrylic base, plus other materials that make them stronger and more comfortable to wear.
First time getting a partial denture? If you need any teeth extractions prior to your final fitting, your healing partials will also be made from our durable—yet comfortable—acrylic base.
Implant dentures
When you’re ready to upgrade to our best denture solution, implant dentures (snap-in dentures) click into place on top of permanent implants in your mouth. Easily snapped on and off, implant dentures are expertly crafted for a secure fit.
You can choose between a Signature Elite or Signature denture for your final prosthetic, both crafted from our most durable, acrylic-based materials.
The type of acrylic blend used to make your denture will impact the cost. Our most affordable Basic and Classic dentures are made with straight acrylic, while our premium options like Signature Elite and Signature feature a blend of acrylic and resin, for a more customizable and stronger denture.
Acrylic is just one type of material lab teams at Aspen Dental use to make dentures. Other popular models are made from IPN, a type of polymer cross-linked with resin or nanoceramic resin, a material used in our budget-friendly digital denture options.
Pre-work steps, like hygiene services or tooth extractions can impact the total cost of your denture treatment. Additionally, if you have any underlying dental issues, this will also affect how much dentures cost.

No, we do not recommend sleeping with your dentures in at night. Dentures put pressure on your gums—giving them a break at night helps them stay healthy. Before going to bed, be sure to take out your dentures and gently dry them with a paper towel to remove any residue or saliva. Be sure to rinse them under lukewarm water, gently brushing both the gums and teeth, before rinsing and soaking them in a denture bath solution overnight. Taking these steps will not only keep your mouth feeling rested, but also keep your denture fresh for next-day wear.

Yes, acrylic dentures are made to look, feel and function like your own teeth, so you can certainly eat with them. When you’re first adjusting to your new denture, it’s a good idea to stick to softer foods until you feel more confident chewing. And don’t forget—cleaning your dentures is key to keeping them in great shape and free from food debris.
Compared to porcelain dentures or dental implants, acrylic dentures are a more budget-friendly option. To make things easier, Aspen Dental offers flexible financing from third-party lenders, and we can work with your insurance to help you manage the cost comfortably. Please note that we do not accept Medicaid.
Acrylic dentures are lightweight, durable and generally affordable, making them a popular choice. Porcelain dentures, on the other hand, tend to last longer but come at a higher cost and are usually heavier. The best option depends on your priorities—your Aspen Dentals team can help you weigh your choices and find what works best for your needs.
