The staff were amazing! I haven't been to the dentist in years and was terrified to go this time...but I didn't have a choice, I had to see someone for my mouth pain! The dental assistants were VERY CARING, compassionate, and empathetic... They definitely helped decrease my anxiety and fear of seeing a dentist!
They were very friendly as soon as I walked in.When called back they made me feel so at ease and talked me through everything they were doing. After I was done I sat down with Amanda about they amount of everything and she was so nice and helped me in every way she could so I can get it all done.Went for my first visit and the lady who done the cleaning was awesome and now I am just waiting on my next visit to finish it all up.Everything was so clean.I have no complaints at all Update 7/29/21:I will not recommend this service to anyone. With everything I have been through I went into a depression state and couldn't even show my face out in public.I got a top plate that I have yet to be able to wear and when I go in I always hear things will get better once the swelling has gone down.Well the swelling has been gone and it's worse. My family invites me to go out to eat with them and I can't go bc I can't eat. Then was told I should get my permanent plate soon but I am worried it's gonna be messed up also bc the bite on my temp is way off and one side touches before the other so they have it all wrong.I cry everyday bc of this and even on the phone with Amanda yesterday I cried.I have never felt like this in my life.So thanks aspen dental for ruining my life
Im a 63 Year Old Male whos had Alot of Problems with my Teeth, and also had Alot of Problems with Dentists who have caused me Alot of Pain,Heartache, and Money over the Years, and could go,on,and on,etc.Im kinda "Old School'and always went to the Local small town Dentist, and would NEVER even think about going to a Place Like 'Aspen Dental"because I thought it was going to be more like a "Dental Factory"where you see a Different Dentist each time, and would get Less than Professional care.HOW WRONG I WAS!!!!I Cant Believe Im actually saying this, but I LOVE MY ASPEN DENTAL OFFICE!!!From the Young Lady at the desk when you walk in,to the Dentist"Dr.P",the Hygienist,"Carolyn",Who REALLY Cleaned My teeth,To Amanda, who goes over your Treatment Plan, and The Young Lady that did my X-rays,and the woman who assisted Dr,P today,YOU GUYS ROCK!!!They treat you like Gold, and are GENUINELY KIND,JOYFUL,and PROFESSIONAL!!! The Last thing I want to deal with ,especially when going to the Dentist,is a bunch of sourpusses, glued to their cell phones!!!!NOT HERE!!!Every appointment Ive Had,I was taken in Immediately, and got worked on This am,I had an 8:00am appointment to get 2 cavities done,I was done, walking out the door at 8;30!!!Most places, you'd still be sitting in the waiting room, and then get stuck in some room, for another 30 minutes before being taking care of!!!!!DONT WAIT,LIKE ME,CALL,MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT TODAY!!!!YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY YOU DID!!!AND NO,IM NOT ANGRY WIT CAPS,IM SHOUTING WITH JOY!!!!!

Implant dentures at Aspen Dental in Spartanburg, SC (East)

An implant denture—sometimes referred to as a snap-on denture, overdenture, or implant-supported denture—is a modern tooth replacement option that merges the stability of titanium dental implants with the look and feel of traditional dentures. Rather than resting loosely on the gums or relying on adhesives, these dentures attach securely to implants anchored in your jawbone. With a simple snap, they lock firmly into position, offering a secure, natural-feeling fit that lets you eat, talk, and smile with confidence and comfort once again.

Implant dentures in Spartanburg, SC (East) FAQs

Explore answers to common questions so you know what to expect—before, during and after your implant denture visit at Aspen Dental in Spartanburg.

Implant dentures are an enhanced version of traditional or conventional dentures. They fit onto permanent dental implants that are surgically placed in your jaw so your smile fits securely and you can eat with confidence. Implant dentures go by many names, such as: snap-in denture, snap-on denture, hybrid denture, denture implant, overdenture, implant-supported denture. Regardless of which name they go by, removable dentures that secure onto implants provide stability and comfort by being secured into place, eliminating any need for adhesives.

How long implant dentures last depends on which part of your smile—the implants or the denture—you’re referring to. Implant dentures are comprised of 2–4 implants per arch (an arch refers to a row of teeth, so you have two arches in your mouth) and 1 denture that sits atop those implants. Implant: With proper care, your dental implants can last 25+ years. Denture: On average, dentures last about 10 years with proper care³. To get the most out of your smile, the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends having your denture professionally assessed by your dentist every 5 to 7 years.

Yes, they can look real. In fact, with Aspen Dental, your implant denture is customizable with: a precise impression for your most comfortable fit, 27 tooth shades for a smile that looks natural and 4 gum shades to blend in with your gums.

Dentures rest atop your gums and need to be secured into place using adhesives, which can make eating a wide range of healthy foods difficult. Implant dentures snap onto implants in your mouth, making them more secure and easier to use for eating without adhesives. While the dentures are removable for easy cleaning, the implants are permanent.

Yes. Implant dentures “snap-in” when you place the denture overtop of your implants and press them into place. Also known as snap-in dentures or implant-supported dentures, they fit on top of permanent dental implants that are surgically placed in your jaw so your smile is both removable and secure—making eating and cleaning easier than ever.

When it comes to implant dentures, the success rate refers to the implants being placed in your jaw and how successfully they fuse with your jawbone. With this in mind, implant dentures have a high rate of success at 98%⁴, which makes them more stable and durable than traditional dentures.

In comparison to traditional or conventional dentures, yes. Because your denture will be secured into place with permanent implants, chewing is easier. Implant dentures have 3x the bite force of traditional dentures, which is why you can eat more of the foods you love without the need for adhesives.

It’s normal for patients to feel some discomfort and pain along their implant denture journey—specifically for a day or two after the implants are placed in your jaw, or if you need extractions. At Aspen Dental, we do everything we can to keep you comfortable during the process, so you can get back to enjoying life your way as soon as possible.
