This has been a long journey for me but I made it! SUPER PLEASED with the final results today! Dr. Romaine, Asia, Christi and the staff have transformed my teeth into something I'm proudly showing off! There were times i thought I'd made a mistake but I had to "trust the process" (Dr. Romaine said it!). Immediate dentures SUCK but I had to crawl first. If your thinking about dentures, at least stop by & talk to Aspen Dental in Lexington, I'm so glad I did!
Just went in for a cleaning today and it had to be one of my best dental experiences! Dr. Marlicia took great care of me. No pain at all and she was so attentive!
They were great help. Went in for tooth pain. I was expecting to be told all of my teeth needed to be removed. The dentist told me I only had one tooth on top she would even be comfortable removing. That she would not see the need to take out my teeth and that they could be repaired. That let me know upfront she was a genuine dentist. Not one out to make money for the company. I’ve always heard that Aspen’s price points were outrageous so I never even considered any kind of appointment with them. My husband was actually going in that same day to have some work done and they took me as a walk in. They explained to me all of the work that I needed to have done and they actually approved me for nearly 10,000 credit. Which is absolutely amazing considering I do not work and do not have insurance. They allow you to use combined income and that is how I was approved. Overall everyone was very friendly and personable. It was a much better experience altogether then I was expecting and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Aspen Dental to anyone in need of dental care.

What is a dental bridge?

A dental bridge is a long-term and natural-looking way to replace one or more missing teeth. Designed to match the shape and color of your natural teeth, a bridge helps restore your smile with a seamless look. Beyond appearance, bridges support your oral health too—making it easier to chew, speak clearly and keep your teeth properly aligned.

What types of dental bridges are there?

Not sure which bridge is right for you? The best option depends on where your missing tooth is, how healthy your teeth are, and the health of your surrounding structure.
1
Traditional, fixed bridge
This is the most common option. It uses crowns on both sides of the gap to hold the replacement tooth in place. Traditional bridges are strong and durable, making them a trusted choice for patients missing one or more teeth in the same area.
2
Cantilever bridge
Used when there is only one natural tooth next to the gap, a cantilever bridge relies on a single anchor tooth for support. While less common, it can be effective when other options are not available.
3
Maryland bridge
This conservative option attaches the replacement tooth using porcelain or metal wings bonded to the back of neighboring teeth. It requires less preparation but may not be as durable for areas that take heavy chewing pressure.
4
Implant-supported bridge
The most stable option, this type uses dental implants instead of natural teeth for support. Implant-supported bridges provide excellent strength and longevity, making them ideal for patients seeking a permanent solution.
