I swear I have Never in my 67 years of life, have met a Group of People who was so Compassionate and Caring about how I felt. So Professional, they take that Hippocratic Oath of Do No Harm seriously. I am a big baby terrified of dentist due to bad handling previously in my hometown. I was shaky because of so much pain due to infection from a broken tooth that I was trying to self medicated. My fault. I was treated as a walk in because I was in so much pain, I felt like running in front of a bus to end it all. I was jacked up, I think I sat and moaned for about 8 mins my face swollen and a headache from hell. From the time I went back to exam and X-ray . I knew in my soul I was in the right place. The Doctor was amazing showed me everything and explained about I had to get rid of infection prior my upcoming shoulder replacement I told her I was scared of sepsis, well that's just where I was headed. But I am there and we were gonna head it off at the pass. They are going to notify my Surgeon as to line of Care. I have never felt so SAFE. I look forward to going back in a week to see how these antibiotics worked. I am in no pain after 3 days of no sleep in constant pain and finally can bend my Head down with no dizziness. I thank Swedes hospital referring me to them.Aspen Dental actually saved my life today. If you're are a chicken like me, this is the place to go to. I’m glad I switched to this Dentist after hoping around different places. The staff here is so kind and non judgmental. I came in today for a regular cleaning with Sky and I was very pleased with her service. She answered all my questions and offered me multiple options for my care plans. I recommend this place to all my coworkers since we all have the same insurance 🥰
This Aspen Dental is one of the best places I have gone too and I will keep recommending them to everyone. They are very understanding and nice. When I panicked because of my anxiety they were not mean and did not get attitude about me panicking. They were so understanding. They made 100% sure that I was never in pain and they also clearly tell you instructions for home. 10/10 for Aspen.

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:
1
Pain or swelling
Discomfort at the back of your mouth can be a sign of trouble.
2
Infections or gum irritation
Inflamed or infected gums around wisdom teeth can worsen if untreated.
3
Pressure or crowding
Wisdom teeth can shift other teeth, causing bite issues.
4
Cysts, decay, or damage
In some cases, wisdom teeth can cause cysts or damage surrounding teeth.

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
