I can’t yet speak to the quality of dentistry yet as I have only had the $29 exam but I would like to speak to the many other reviews that have posted. I knew I was “in for it” after 51yrs of not seeing a dentist all my life. I need one extraction with the one that I went there for and was quoted only under $150 for that to be done. I have quite a busy schedule but they are trying their best to accommodate what I have available to make it in there. $150 is below par for what dentists charge typically. I have a mouth packed full of cavities (some are quite bad). With missing 2 teeth(ones that are important for chewing) they recommend 2 bridges that I already had quoted by another local dentist. For the 2, they are right at the same cost as the would be “cheaper” guy. The cavities, being most of my teeth were ballpark $1600. That’s a deal honestly. The bridges, I think I’ll head over the border for those. The manager there, Nichia(spelling???) first gave me a quite higher quote but being I’m not a man of means, she had a magic button that made everything a lot more comfortable. I’m not sure what qualifies a person for that button, just don’t know how that got offered to me. She just did. As originally said, I can’t yet speak to the quality of the doctor yet except to say she seemed very kind and educated. The negative reviews I’ve been reading… what? Check other practices before posting that this facility is so expensive. It’s right where the others are. Yes, any dental is expensive but I deserve that for not taking care of things ever before in my life. $29 for the exam(plus X-rays) to see what cost I’m looking at cannot be achieved by the patient anywhere else I looked for. Others have mentioned Mexico and I get that completely. I will take that chance for the bridges. This facility is not overpriced though in comparison to what else I’ve seen. I just wanted to write this review to contrast the prices others have mentioned. It’s a fair deal from my recent experience with a clean office and very competent doc. This is only one man’s experience but I’m not at all shocked at their prices. It’s right with the “going rate”. I wish you all well. I hope people will be more kind with the reviews or consider Mexico. Yes, that cannot be beat.

I really like the people that work here! They are all so nice. The dentist is very knowledgeable and I really like how she is able to save my teeth that need fixed!

I had the best experience today at Aspen Dental. Everyone knew exactly what they were doing. They were very patient with my questions. Very friendly staff all around.

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
