I hadn't visited a dentist since I was a kid and now as an adult with insurance for the first time it was time to fix my smile and Im so thankful I came here! I was petrified but everyone here was so warm and welcoming and make me feel so seen and accepted! From my first xray struggles with poor T and Lauryn who had to deal with my terrible gag reflex to my first step of fixing my smile! Dr. Shach and Lauryn were so warm and friendly and made me feel like we had all the time in the world and didn't rush me through the daunting surgery. They answered questions I didn't know i had, gave me a goodie bag full of everything I could need for healing (even a cold compress!)and made sure i knew to contact them ASAP with ANY concerns. Lauryn giving me special attention when I was nervous and keeping me occupied and distracted when I needed it. They are so good at making sure I didn't feel like like a bother and take the time at every appointment during my healing process to make sure I know what's going on and comfortable with all the steps. Coming in for my follow up appointment I got to meet Connie who was more than happy to answer my last minute questions and gave me additional info I never would have thought to ask but is SUPER HELPFUL! T even came in to check on me when she happened to walk by and see me. Shes so genuine and sweet and wanted to know how everything was going. Everyone in the office seems to remember me by name without my prompting and I dont feel like a random patient among the hundreds they must see weekly. They recognize me at a glance and are all to happy to check in and provide encouragement. Make an appointment. It'll be the best decision you have ever made!
Dr Chamberlain did an awesome job. Nice team worked as one. I will definitely be back!
Assistant on top of things A+. Dr did special fillings and I had difficulty telling them from my teeth. Excellent job. Wish I had done them sooner. Great experience! Would refer Dr Chamberlain and team. 5/5!

With regular hygiene visits, we can help maintain the health of your gums and oral health. The earlier you come in, the sooner we can prevent gum disease, minimize gingivitis or treat periodontitis.

Detects problems early

Coming in for a hygiene visit at least once every 6 months will help your care team detect any dental issues early on. This is essential to keep your smile at its best and your treatments and costs at a minimum.

Brightens your teeth

Built-up bacteria, plaque and tartar (calculus) are common causes of bad breath (halitosis) and a yellowing smile. With a professional cleaning, your hygienist clears it all away, leaving your mouth looking its best.

Regular preventative dental cleanings are for many patients. They are: recommended at least every 6 months, also known as preventative hygiene services or prophylaxis, designed to remove daily buildup, such as plaque, tartar and stains above the gum line. Deep cleanings are for patients showing advanced signs of periodontitis. They are: recommended based on your level of periodontitis, also known as scaling and root planing, and periodontal treatment and designed to remove build up and bacteria below the gum line to prevent the spread of infection further. When you come in for a checkup, your Aspen Dental dentist will guide you on which option is right for you based on your exam.

Dental cleanings, or preventative hygiene services, start with a screening. Your hygienist will review your teeth and gums before removing light plaque and tartar. After, they’ll polish your teeth to remove any surface stains for a brighter smile. After your hygiene care, your Aspen Dental dentist will review your oral health and recommended any needed follow-up care.

If you’ve recently had a dental cleaning, here’s how you can keep that freshly-cleaned feeling longer: brush your teeth twice a day, floss in between your teeth everyday, drink water throughout the day, try an electric tooth brush and water flosser for a more effective daily care routine, skip excess sugar, and come to your routine 6-month checkups. With these small habits, you can keep your smile at its best in between visits.

Yes, dental cleanings can help. Built-up bacteria, plaque and tartar (calculus) are common causes of bad breath (halitosis). With a preventative dental cleaning, your hygienist clears it all away, leaving your mouth feeling and smelling fresh.
