Had to have extractions and a few other things done. All staff and doctors have been professional, helpful, and sincerely nice. I would recommend to anyone.
It took me awhile to get to do this review but I haven't forgot to let everyone at Aspen Mission Bell on N Dale Mabry how awesome they were. I was a new patient and the entire process was smooth. Everyone one that I came in contact with were amazing friendly helpful knowledgeable and caring. I had to get the rest of my top teeth pulled and 1 bottom, then I had to get top dentures and partials for the bottom. I was so depressed nervous scared. After the initial visit and going over the treatment plan and cost, I was sure I wasn't going to be able to afford all that even with insurance. The Operations Lead Shaury told me about financing options but I wasn't going to bother because I have been turned downs several times already. She encouraged me to try and once we did long and behold I was approved. So I am thankful for time and working out what was best for me. Taisha who is also upfront answering calls and greeting u when u came in was very pleasant. They were on time with apts and getting u in and out. Now to the actual process and those all who were apart of making this transition from pulling my teeth and creating the dentures. They all were so sweet and caring and took the time to make sure the process went smooth. I was a conplete mess and being a big baby. The dentist Dr. Jain was amazing and so sweet. I didn't feel a thing and her assistant Gretchen was amazing and so supportive. I have been in several times since for adjustments and some of the other staff that helped were also amazing. Thank u Airisley and especially Joe who is definitely an expert in crafting these dentures even tho they are only the temporary. They all have made this experience awesome and worth acknowledging them all. If I forgot anyone sry just know I will definitely be referring friends and family. I love giving credit when credit is due. One love Jessica ❤️
The people there are so nice. I felt really comfortable. They took time to talk to me. I am very happy with my visit. Thank you all and keep smiling 😃

Wisdom teeth removal treatment in Tampa, FL - Mission Bell SC

When wisdom teeth cause pain, swelling or infection, it can throw off your whole routine. These teeth often come in at odd angles or don’t fully emerge, which can lead to ongoing discomfort and oral health problems. At Aspen Dental in Tampa, our care team makes wisdom tooth removal as smooth as possible. With modern tools, anesthesia and a focus on your comfort, we’re here to help you feel at ease. You’ll always get a clear estimate up front, simple treatment options to choose from and—when available—the chance for same-day or next-day care.

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:
1
Pain or swelling
Discomfort at the back of your mouth can be a sign of trouble.
2
Infections or gum irritation
Inflamed or infected gums around wisdom teeth can worsen if untreated.
3
Pressure or crowding
Wisdom teeth can shift other teeth, causing bite issues.
4
Cysts, decay, or damage
In some cases, wisdom teeth can cause cysts or damage surrounding teeth.

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
