The staff at this Aspen Dental are always very nice and interact very well with customers. My procedure went well. Very pleased!
An appointment was made for later on the day I called, which was perfect since I had broken my dentures. Everyone at the North Port Aspen Dental was responsive, professional, helpful & friendly. After my first two visits, I am very pleased with the services and would recommend North Port Aspen Dental.
Not sure where to start I do not like going to the dentist unfortunately today was an emergency appointment and had no choice but this practice goes above and beyond making an appointment was extremely easy and same day. The staff extremely kind and compassionate answering any questions I had. The hygienist was also very kind going over all the X-rays and what I should do in the future. Then came the dentist he is the most down to earth friendly doctor knowing my fear he was very calming and was not pushy let me make my own mind up on my treatment plan. He and insurance/ billing young woman sat and talked with me even after hours going over the cost and helping me come up with the best financial decision for me. I will forever be grateful for the kindness that they showed me and will recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you so much for your kindness.

What is a dental bridge?

A dental bridge is a long-term and natural-looking way to replace one or more missing teeth. Designed to match the shape and color of your natural teeth, a bridge helps restore your smile with a seamless look. Beyond appearance, bridges support your oral health too—making it easier to chew, speak clearly and keep your teeth properly aligned.

What types of dental bridges are there?

Not sure which bridge is right for you? The best option depends on where your missing tooth is, how healthy your teeth are, and the health of your surrounding structure.
1
Traditional, fixed bridge
This is the most common option. It uses crowns on both sides of the gap to hold the replacement tooth in place. Traditional bridges are strong and durable, making them a trusted choice for patients missing one or more teeth in the same area.
2
Cantilever bridge
Used when there is only one natural tooth next to the gap, a cantilever bridge relies on a single anchor tooth for support. While less common, it can be effective when other options are not available.
3
Maryland bridge
This conservative option attaches the replacement tooth using porcelain or metal wings bonded to the back of neighboring teeth. It requires less preparation but may not be as durable for areas that take heavy chewing pressure.
4
Implant-supported bridge
The most stable option, this type uses dental implants instead of natural teeth for support. Implant-supported bridges provide excellent strength and longevity, making them ideal for patients seeking a permanent solution.
