I love this office. I am terrified of the dentist but Aspen Dental has made me feel comfortable going in and giving me the proper knowledge to get my smile healthier.
Absolutely the very very best service I've ever had at any dentist office. The office is nice and new super clean, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and actually willing to help, and I'm not the easiest person to deal with but they worked with me just fine. My doctor whose nickname is Ethan was absolutely the best ever and I sincerely mean that. I have a lot of experience going to UConn medical center dental School for several decades and this person must have stood out at the head of his class because he is really good knowledgeable he's very talented knows exactly what I was looking for and it's tough to deal with patients like me because sometimes we think we know more than we do however he listened patiently to me and did an excellent job on my feeling. I would go nowhere else but Aspen dental in the future and for all my dental needs. They offer walk-in service I believe they also offer emergency service, down the road I may look into implants and they will be the first people I go to to see what they can do for me or at least get their opinion and recommendations and perhaps set up a treatment plan. But once again this Aspen dental located on the town line of New Britain and Farmington across the street from Target and close to westfarms Mall what's the best place I've ever gone to in my life for dental work. Although it was only a feeling but the filling was done previously by a very bad dentist which I think I'll name in this review, which was horizon dental in southington Connecticut. They did a very bad job on me and they lie throughout the entire process whereas Aspen dental was up front I could tell they were being as honest and sincere as they possibly could be and once again I walked away this morning it's statically happy with the work. Anybody reading this make no mistake don't go anywhere else go to Aspen dental and I am not paid nor was I solicited to write this review this is coming out of my heart and out of my gut and based on my experience and I have a lot of experience with dealing with medical staff because I'm a retired insurance claims adjuster so that's for sure I can weed out the good and the bad., and Aspen dental is not just the good but the best in my opinion.
The whole staff very nice and professional and Jodi is such a sweetheart and patient and very knowledgeable with her work. I highly recommend anybody to this Aspen location

Wisdom teeth removal treatment in New Britain, CT (Farmington)

When wisdom teeth cause pain, swelling or infection, it can throw off your whole routine. These teeth often come in at odd angles or don’t fully emerge, which can lead to ongoing discomfort and oral health problems. At Aspen Dental in New Britain, our care team makes wisdom tooth removal as smooth as possible. With modern tools, anesthesia and a focus on your comfort, we’re here to help you feel at ease. You’ll always get a clear estimate up front, simple treatment options to choose from and—when available—the chance for same-day or next-day care.

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:
1
Pain or swelling
Discomfort at the back of your mouth can be a sign of trouble.
2
Infections or gum irritation
Inflamed or infected gums around wisdom teeth can worsen if untreated.
3
Pressure or crowding
Wisdom teeth can shift other teeth, causing bite issues.
4
Cysts, decay, or damage
In some cases, wisdom teeth can cause cysts or damage surrounding teeth.

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
