Dr. Steven was born in Hoboken, NJ to first generation Chinese immigrant parents. His father was a Chemistry professor, then later in life became a dentist. He grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL, played soccer and won the state pommel horse gymnastics championship in high school prior to attending University of Michigan for three years on an athletic and academic honors program scholarship. At UofM he was team captain and Lambda Chi brother before leaving early to attend Loyola University of Chicago Dental school where his dad was a crown and bridge professor there one day a week. He got saved and got married soon after graduation. He has five girls including an orphan from Haiti with CP. He loves spending time with family, doing things through church or through Faith college, playing games, traveling, watching the kids music or sport events, and playing or watching sports such as tennis, soccer, volleyball, softball, golf, triathlons, etc. Dr. Steve completed continued education in the areas of oral surgery, endodontics, implantology, TMJ, orthodontics, crown and bridge and cosmetics.
