Dr. Ivan Mericle grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio and currently resides in Tampa, Florida. He attended dental school at The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, Dr. Mericle completed an AEGD residency with the US Air Force and was stationed in Kunsan, Korea, and at McDill Air Force Base in Tampa. After practicing as a general dentist for four years with the US Air Force, he chose to further his education by attending endodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University in Fort. Lauderdale. He has been practicing as an endodontist for nine years. Dr. Mericle’s focus in endodontics began while in the Air Force. He enjoys the technical challenges and the precision that endodontic therapy requires. Most importantly, he enjoys bringing relief to patients that have been in pain and the satisfaction of being able to help patients save their teeth. Dr. Mericle chose to work for Aspen because of the patient centric approach Aspen maintains. He enjoys working in a clinical setting where communication between doctors leads to a team effort approach in maintaining and improving patient’s overall oral health. In his spare time, Dr. Mericle enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids, and two dogs. He enjoys playing golf and spending time on the waters of Tampa Bay.
