He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras and completed residencies in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Peru and at the University of Rochester. Dr. Martinez went on to complete a fellowship in maxillofacial and orthognathic surgery in New York City and currently serves as Division Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at MetroHealth in Cleveland, Ohio.
