I've had irrational fear of dental visits my whole life... This is the only place I will ever go to! They have removed my wisdom teeth, done deep cleaning, and basic care. Always excellent work and very caring staff!

My appointment was set online(by me) on a Thursday afternoon for Friday morning, no issues. I called Friday morning to find out what my visit was going to cost(first time there), $29. Sweet! I had a blister(potential abscess) that was the whole reason for my visit. Abscesses are typically an infection and that infection can spread if left untreated. Anyway, I wanted to find out if indeed this was an abscess or just some random sore on my gum. I showed up early, was greeted promptly, was handed a tablet to fill out medical info, typical stuff for a first time visit. Waiting room was clean and there may have been one more person there waiting for their appointment. I filled out the tablet info, returned it sat back down and waited. They called me back, took x-rays, sat me in an exam room. I waited there for a short time, then was examined by hygienist, then the dentist. I told both my concerns. The hygienist and the dentist both suggested I have a deep clean on all of my teeth, but at the very least in the area of my concern to see if we can't improve the condition(not yet an infection) and if it doesn't improve we'll have to take the tooth out. I said, I'll consider his suggestion...basically appointment over, discussed cost etc. with an office person, paid my $29 and I was out of there. No problems, no hard sales pitch. Overall, my visit was good and I would have no issues returning. In fact, I may return for a sectional deep cleaning, but it was kind of pricey at $330 for a section and about $1k for my entire mouth. That may be fair market value, I don't know.

I called for an emergency repair for my dentures lost a tooth in the front. The office manager got me in quickly with no false expectations and his dental assistant was very nice but doctor Benosman was what they say they offer professional and friendly and affordable services

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
