I really don't like going to the dentist but Aspen Dental in Macedonia made the experience very pleasant(considering what I need done!😹😉). The staff was very nice and helpful. Everything about my treatment was explained in complete detail. Then my dental hygienist Kayla had turned my frown upside down into a big smile by the time I left. Kayla was so patient and understanding with me. She's my little dental angel!!!😇 All around the entire staff was great to me. I'm sticking with Aspen Dental in Macedonia and will recommend them to my family and friends!!!😃

First of all let’s talk about the vibe as you walk in, there is a serenity that can’t be put into words. The receptionists were pleasant and smiled. They even helped me get the treatment I needed when I didn’t think it was possible!! I had two extractions & an intense surgery that was NOT bad at all! She was very responsive to my needs & checked in on me as she was operating I’m very happy & grateful to have such amazing people at this particular office! Go Aspen Go!

I actually had a great dental experience with the staff at this Aspen. I've always had a fear of the dentist but here they made sure to make sure I was comfortable and very well informed on what they were doing and what their next plans were. I have a root canal appointment coming up and probably for the first time Im not all the way afraid to go. Shoutout to the staff here. They are absolutely wonderful!

Wisdom teeth removal treatment in Macedonia, OH

When wisdom teeth cause pain, swelling or infection, it can throw off your whole routine. These teeth often come in at odd angles or don’t fully emerge, which can lead to ongoing discomfort and oral health problems. At Aspen Dental in Macedonia, our care team makes wisdom tooth removal as smooth as possible. With modern tools, anesthesia and a focus on your comfort, we’re here to help you feel at ease. You’ll always get a clear estimate up front, simple treatment options to choose from and—when available—the chance for same-day or next-day care.

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
