I came several months ago and with determination to work on my smile. I had the pleasure of working with Sarah and she helped me with a detailed plan. I came back today for a 3 month clean up and it was a positive experience. Excited to continue this journey. Sarah is very pleasant and I’m happy.
Amazing job as always to Rob my Dental Hygienist! Keeps it fun while also being informative and helps me keep my teeth healthy!
I recently had an appointment at Aspen Dental with Sarah the dental hygienist for a cleaning and three months ago Sarah had to perform a very deep and intense cleaning. When she saw the progress that was made from three months ago until now she was overwhelmed and happy to see that what she told me to do as my oral hygiene regimen every morning and night was truly remarkable. Sarah goes the extra mile to make certain that your mouth is cared for considering that it plays a tremendous role with your health. My advise to anyone who gets any cleaning done should always be to keep up with their oral hygiene and have regular appointments. Sarah has transformed my mouth a complete one hundred and eighty degrees from just three months ago and from keeping up with my daily oral hygiene and regular appointments Sarah now does a simple but thorough cleaning and is so pleased with the results as am I. Listen to your dental hygienist and follow their instructions carefully because it definitely does play a role in your overall health. Sarah thanks again for another outstanding visit and all that you have done. I look forward to my next visit with you! I'd also like to give a thank you to all of the staff at Aspen Dental in Newburgh New York for being so helpful and curtious. Your all a great team from the front desk straight to the doctors. Thanks for everything!

What is a dental bridge?

A dental bridge is a long-term and natural-looking way to replace one or more missing teeth. Designed to match the shape and color of your natural teeth, a bridge helps restore your smile with a seamless look. Beyond appearance, bridges support your oral health too—making it easier to chew, speak clearly and keep your teeth properly aligned.

What types of dental bridges are there?

Not sure which bridge is right for you? The best option depends on where your missing tooth is, how healthy your teeth are, and the health of your surrounding structure.
1
Traditional, fixed bridge
This is the most common option. It uses crowns on both sides of the gap to hold the replacement tooth in place. Traditional bridges are strong and durable, making them a trusted choice for patients missing one or more teeth in the same area.
2
Cantilever bridge
Used when there is only one natural tooth next to the gap, a cantilever bridge relies on a single anchor tooth for support. While less common, it can be effective when other options are not available.
3
Maryland bridge
This conservative option attaches the replacement tooth using porcelain or metal wings bonded to the back of neighboring teeth. It requires less preparation but may not be as durable for areas that take heavy chewing pressure.
4
Implant-supported bridge
The most stable option, this type uses dental implants instead of natural teeth for support. Implant-supported bridges provide excellent strength and longevity, making them ideal for patients seeking a permanent solution.
