I had to find a new place for my dental care. This is a great place with high tech equipment. The receptionists, dentist, hygienist staff are all friendly, professional and make you feel comfortable and welcomed.

Zahkayla made me feel so comfortable during my most recent cleaning. She is a great communicator and super diligent in her work.

My grand daughter is extremely terrified of dental procedures. She went today for a root canal with Dr. Park and he was very compassionate and calming the whole time and he made the experience as painless as possible. She said the procedure was completely painless qnd the numbing part did not hurt nearly as bad as she expected and she says the pain was very minimal. Dr. Park was also very diligent with making sure my granddaughter did not feel anything during the procedure which was one of her concerns. He made sure she was able to clearly communicate to him if anything was wrong at any point; but because Dr. Park was so careful in making sure she was properly numbed she did not have any problems at all. She is currently, 7 hours post-root canal and she has had no pain or complications and has been able to resume her life as normal. We are so grateful for Dr. Park and his excellent wok and caring compassion. My granddaughter is no longer afraid of dental procedures because this one was so easy and painless thanks to Dr. Park. We would recommend him to anyone.

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
