Great experience with very helpful staff. Special shoutout to my hygienist, Cheryl, for her awesome work and dedication to her patients.

I really was blessed by Dr wisdom very enthusiastic and very professional and Rachel

I don't even know where to start with this review! I guess I'll start with the front desk. I called on Monday morning, the week of Thanksgiving. I had been in the hospital where they threw my dentures away 😭. Aspen dental was not only above and beyond accommodating, but they got me in that very day. I was there for several hours while many people worked tirelessly to do xrays, etc. They were so thorough I couldn't believe it. Everyone I came into contact with was absolutely professional and amazing with me. They did impressions that day! I love that they have an in house lab and make them right there. I went back today, Tuesday for a final fitting to make sure the teeth are the right size for my facial features and they were perfect! I even got to meet Steve, the guy that is making my dentures. What an awesome guy! Working around the clock to give me my smile back and make sure I have teeth for Thanksgiving. Dr Wisdom and her entire staff are my heroes. I can't wait to pick up my teeth tomorrow! I highly recommend Aspen Dental and Dr. WISDOM. If you go somewhere else and have a less than awesome experience, that is 100% on you. Go to Aspen Dental for all your dental needs. You can't go wrong here.

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
