If you’re looking for a dental office that is professional, organized, and genuinely cares about their patients, I highly recommend Aspen Dental in Toms River. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This facility offers an excellent and welcoming environment. As the inaugural patient at this new location, I must express a significant discomfort regarding the individual identified as Ginger. Her repeated entries into my examination rooms, where she would observe procedures or discussions without explanation, were unsettling. Given my current dental concerns, this situation was particularly disquieting. I believe my unease would have been mitigated had she introduced herself. At one juncture, after her brief departure, I inquired about her identity and role within Aspen Dental. I was informed that she was a member of the technical support team, present to offer assistance if required. Her presence, however, felt notably intrusive.
Everyone was super friendly and helpful! They have the newest technology which makes things go by faster and easier, and they’re incredibly thorough with their work. Even without insurance, I find it really affordable and would definitely recommend the practice!
What is a dental bridge?
A dental bridge is a long-term and natural-looking way to replace one or more missing teeth. Designed to match the shape and color of your natural teeth, a bridge helps restore your smile with a seamless look. Beyond appearance, bridges support your oral health too—making it easier to chew, speak clearly and keep your teeth properly aligned.
What types of dental bridges are there?
Not sure which bridge is right for you? The best option depends on where your missing tooth is, how healthy your teeth are, and the health of your surrounding structure.Traditional, fixed bridge
This is the most common option. It uses crowns on both sides of the gap to hold the replacement tooth in place. Traditional bridges are strong and durable, making them a trusted choice for patients missing one or more teeth in the same area.
Cantilever bridge
Used when there is only one natural tooth next to the gap, a cantilever bridge relies on a single anchor tooth for support. While less common, it can be effective when other options are not available.
Maryland bridge
This conservative option attaches the replacement tooth using porcelain or metal wings bonded to the back of neighboring teeth. It requires less preparation but may not be as durable for areas that take heavy chewing pressure.
Implant-supported bridge
The most stable option, this type uses dental implants instead of natural teeth for support. Implant-supported bridges provide excellent strength and longevity, making them ideal for patients seeking a permanent solution.
